Theme:“Parts of body”
Aim:to teach children to name the parts of body and show them; to develop children’s memory; to develop speaking skills; to impact interest to English language; to bring up interest in English language as a mean of communication.
Equipment:pictures of parts of body.
Vocabulary:A body, a head, an eye, a nose, a hand, a leg, a finger.

I Circle of greeting. Working of phrases:
1. “Good morning”
2. “What’s your name? – My name is…”
3. “What season is it now? – It’s spring now.”
4. “How are you? – I’m OK.”
II Information environment: Pictures of the parts of body.
Greet the tutor.
Ask and answer the questions.
III Simulate the situation. “Children, look at the pictures. What do you see?
Yes, these are parts of body. So, it’s the theme of our lesson today. Do you want to know the names of the parts of body in English? OK, let’s do it!”
IV Work on the pronunciation of the sounds in the words.
Pay attention to the articulation. Work frontally, in groups, individually:
V Dynamic pause (at the discretion of the teacher).Now, let’s sing the songs and tell the poems for our guest.
Finger play “Birds”. The song “Head and shoulders”.
VI Introducing the words in sentences. Continue to teach to answer the questions “What is this?”/”what are these?”:
- “What is this?”
- “This is a head/finger etc.
- “What are these?”
- “These are eyes/legs etc.”
Work frontally, in groups, individually. Pay attention to the articulation.
Listen attentively and react the situation. Describe the pictures.
Listen attentively sounds and words. Repeat it all together, put it in the box, boys, girls, and one by one.
Tell the poems and rhymes, sing the song.
Listen attentively the questions and teach to answer it on the theme.
Repeat the answers all together, loud, quiet, boys, girls, one by one.
VII Application of the acquired knowledge. Call out children in turn, they tell about the parts of body using the pictures.
“Children, who wants to tell about the parts of body that you memorized? OK, Gleb, come here to the board, show and tell. Very good! Thank you!”
“Children, our lesson is over. Good bye!”
Children go to the board with pictures, show and name the parts of body that they memorized.
“Good bye, Tatyana Vladimirovna!”
