My first English lesson

1. Warm up (5 min)

Hello, everyone! Let’s start the lesson!
Make a circle, and now you need watch the video and sing with the speakers.

1. Learning names (10 min)

Teacher introduces themselves and asks names of other students by saying: “My name is ________. What is your name?”

Students go one by one saying their names

Now, Let’s play a game! What is this? (a ball)
We need throw the ball and say the name

1. Alphabet (20 min)

Teacher explains that all letters in English language have their names and students need to know those names. Alphabet helps to learn the names.

Students listen to the alphabet song several times and try to sing along.

Extra worksheets:

• Task is to listen to ABC song and say/write missing words

• Studentss match small and capital letter

1. Spelling names (10 min)

Teacher writes their name on the board and asks students if they can write theirs. Teacher invites one volunteer to the board to write their name. When it is written Teacher spells the name, Student repeat. Then everyone goes to the board one by one and writes and spells their names

1. How are you? (10 min)

Teacher asks students how they are feeling at the end of the lesson introducing words tired and happy

1. Good bye (5 min)

Teacher says that the lesson is over and it is time to say Goodbye. Students listen to a song
