T -Good morning, my dear friends! I am glad to see you! I hope everybody is ready to work. Let`s greet our guests.

-Let`s start our lesson. Who is on duty today? What date is it today? What is the weather like today? Who is absent?

2 Подготовка к основному этапу занятия.

Цель: обеспечение мотивации и принятия учащимися цели учебно- познавательной деятельности, актуализация опорных знаний и умений.

T –Well, friends, to begin with, look at the blackboard, please. Here is a puzzle for you to do.

You should guess the topic of our lesson. Name all the words in the pictures, take only the first letter of each word and you will read the topic of the lesson. Forexample, «alamp» - letter «L»

(Учитель записывает по буквам название темы на доске )

T – So, what topic have we got? Read this word.

Right you are!

T – Translate this word into Russian.

T -Name the synonyms to this word. (Учитель вывешивает на доску таблички с этими словами: « Freetime / Sparetime / Pastime»)

T -Predict what about we shall speak today. Right you are!

T –What do you think we shall do at our lesson?

-You have some sheets of paper on your desks. Take your felt pens. Think of one word connected with the word «leisure» and write it down on your sheets of paper.

T – Are you ready? Great ! And now let`s place your sheets on the blackboard.

T – Good job! Now let`s see what «leisure» is for you. Read these words in turn.

T -And now repeat after me, please.

T – Well done! You could remember so many different English words!

T – Answer my question, please : Do we always pronounce the English words correctly ?

Цель: обеспечение восприятия, осмысления и первичного запоминания знаний и способов действий, связей и отношений в объекте изучения.

T – When we talk about our leisure activities we can use these phrases. Now you should make some sentences with them. Work in pairs, please. Say about your favourite leisure activities to your partner. (As for me, I am keen on taking pictures. And you?)

T – Now tell about your partner`s likes. Begin your sentences with « He likes…» or «She is fond of…»

T – Good job! I see that all of you have your favourite leisure activities.

T – But different people have different opinions of leisure activities. Listen to my statements. Agree or disagree with me. Use the phrases on the blackboard.

4 Обобщение и систематизация знаний.

Цель: формирование целостной системы ведущих знаний по теме, курсу; выделение мировоззренческих идей.

T – А как вы думаете, влияет ли погода на различные виды деятельности в свободное время?

T – You are right. When the weather is good we spend our free time outdoors, and when the weather is bad we stay at home.

T – Now we shall work in 3 groups. In front of you there are some sheets of paper with the table. Look at them, please. Predict what task you should do. (You can speak Russian )

T – You should devide the word expressions into 2 large groups ( outdoors and indoors activities ). Make a list of these activities.

T – Right you are! The next task for you is connected with two countries: Britain and Russia. We shall work in groups again.

T – You have texts about the leisure activities in these countries. Read them, please and discuss what country each text is about.

T – The second task is to put in the missing words. ( см. приложение № 1 ) отгадывают названия стран и вставляют необходимые слова )

T – Goodjob ! Read these texts aloud. Who`s the volunteer ?

If there are no mistakes his / her work is excellent!

T – Well, change your workbooks again. Let`s see your results. Who has excellent marks? ( good / bad )? Well done!

T - We continue to speak about the leisure activities. Remember what school club the children from the exercise speak about.

T – What clubs do you know? Name, please.

T – Now, look at my cards. Guess, what clubs there are. ( Учитель показывает карточкис изображениями символики различных кружков)

T – Work in groups again. Each group should take one of the card. Then you`ll tell your friends from the other groups about one club. Discuss in your group. You can use the beginning of the sentences on the back side of the card.

You should carry out a survey about your classmates` favourite free-time activities. And make a graph. ( Можнообъяснитьзаданиепо-русски.) You can use graphs on page 43 too.

T – You should write down how many pupils have the same hobby and what the most popular hobby is.

T – Open your diaries, please. Write down your hometask.
