Цели и задачи:

Учебный аспект: 1. Активизировать употребление лексики предыдущих

уроков по теме «Здоровье. Болезни».

2. Повторить модальные глаголы must,should.

3. Практиковать в чтении.

4. Совершенствовать навыки говорения.

Воспитательный аспект:

1. Воспитывать бережное, заботливое отношение к людям,

животным.

2. Воспитывать навыки здорового образа жизни, гигиены,

бережное отношение к собственному здоровью.

Познавательный аспект:

1. Дать сведения о культуре, образе жизни британцев,

главным образом через британских сверстников.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный момент.

Goodmorning,children!

Sit down, please.

Dear children, we are having guests today. They are teachers and headmasters from different schools of Min-Vody and our region. Let`s show them the way we work, read and speak English.

Try your best. Don`t worry. Sit comfortable and let`s start!

Is anybody apsent today?

3. Сообщение темы урока. Фонетическая зарядка.

Today we are going to talk about our health, healthy way of life, illnesses and doctors, You have already learned many words from this Unit. Let`s revise them. Repeat after me the next sounds and words, all together.

Health, wealth, healthy, wealthy, an ache, a headache, a toothache, a cold, the flu, appendicitis, a physician, a dentist, a surgeon, a vet.

4. Речевая беседа по теме.

Well.And now let`s begin talking. Answer my questions.

- How are you?

- How is your mother?

- Do you do your morning exercises? Is it true?

- Do you often go to a doctor?

- When did you visit a dentist last time?

- Has your stomach ever hurt?

- What do you usually do if you are ill?

- Does our health depend on us?

5. Совершенствование навыков чтения.

Rightyouare!Some people think a lot about their health, others don`t. And what do some British children Bob, Steven and David think about it? Do they have the same opinion? Open your books on p. 64 ex. 1. It was your hometask for today, wasn`t it? You had to read and to translate it.

- Who wants to read Bob`s opinion?

P, translate it into Russian, please.

- And what about Steven? What`s his attitude towards this problem?

Good you are. P, can you translate it for us?

- So, I repeat my question again.

Do Bob, David and Steven have the same attitude towards health and doctors?

- That`s right. “So many heads, so many minds”,says the English proverb.

Do you know what does it mean in Russian?

-And now tell me please, who of these British boys thinks that doctors are

always right?

- And you, P, what do you think about it?

- And who of them thinks that he can be healthy without medicine?

And you, P, do you think healthy food is important?

- Who of these British boys thinks that sometimes you can do without doctors?

And what is your opinion, P?

- Let`s take another situation. Think a little and say:

- What would you advise if a man has got a headache?

And you, P₁? And you, P₂?

I think you both are right.

- And now imagine that a man has got a toothache. What should he do?

-And what about a cold?

And you, P, what do you think about it?

And you, P, what`s your opinion?

Do you think he must call emergency?

And who knows the telephone number of the Russian emergency?

And what`s the telephone number of the British emergency?

Well, you are right. And now let`s talk about healthy way of life. What must we do to be healthy and strong?

- We must have medical checks regularly.

- We must do morning exercises.

- We must keep warm, if it is cold.

- We must visit a doctor, if it`s necessary.

- We must spend more time in the fresh air.

- We must eat healthy food.

- And what do you know about healthy food? Do you think this food is healthy and useful for us? ( картинки на магнитной доске, продукты на столе)

7. Физическая минутка.

Goodyouare!Now let`s have a rest. It`s time to do our physical exercises. We want to be strong and healthy, don`t we?

8. Ролевые игры. Домашнее задание.

Well.Let`s go on. It`s time for role plays. Your classmates have prepared some role plays about doctors and patients. Let`s listen to them.

At a Physician

- May I come in?

- Come in, please.

- Good morning, doctor!

- Good morning. What`s the matter?

- I don`t feel well. I have got a headache and I can`t breathe well.

- Did you take your temperature?

- Yes, I did. It`s 37,5.

- Show me your tongue, please. Oh, it`s furred... Let me sound your lungs, please. Breathe in deeply... Stop breathing... I see you`ve got a cold.

- What should I do?

- First of all you must stay in bed and drink more hot tea with lemon or honey. Second, you must take these tablets (one pill three times a day).

- Thank you very much, doctor.

- I hope you`ll get better soon.

A t a Vet

- Good morning, doctor!

- Good morning. What`s the problem?

- I think my cat has broken his leg. He can`t move it.

- How long has he been like this?

- Since yesterday.

- Well, Let me see... Does it hurt?

- Oh, yes, doctor.

- I think it isn`t a fracture. A bandage with this ointment can help him. Use it twice a day. And what about his appetite?

- Not very good.

- Then give him this mixture (one teaspoon three times a day).

- Thank you very much, doctor.

- Get better!

Thank`s a lot. It was great!

So, children, I see you agree that health is very important for everybody.

The hometask for the next lesson is: to learn new words on p. 87 and to make up a project with one of these English proverbs at the title.
