Цели:

• Совершенствование навыков выразительного рассказывания стихотворений
• Тренировка монологической речи
• Расширение лексического запаса
• Поддержание интереса к изучению культурных традиций страны изучаемого языка.

Оснащение: рисунки детей.

Ход мероприятия

Goodmorning, goodmorning,
Good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning,
I am glad to see you!

Today we have a lot of guests. You can see your mothers here. It’s because today is Mother’s Day.

1. Стихи

Let’s listen to your poems mothers.

Mom is such a special word
The loveliest I've ever heard
These words to you, above all the rest,
Mom, you're so special,
You are simply the best!

I like the way you look,
I like the way you cook,
Now I want to say:
«Happy Mother’s Day!»

The heart of a home is a mother
Whose love is warm and true,
And home has always been "sweet home"
With a wonderful mother like you!

Here is a flower
For a very special day
Just for you
On Mother’s Day
Many hugs and kisses, too
Each one says that I love you.

I wish there was more
For you I could do
But all I can say
Is how much I love you

2. Рассказы о маме.

Дети вывешивают на доску нарисованные заранее портреты мам и рассказывают о маме по-английски.

3. Инсценировка стихотворения.

2 ученицы разыгрывают сценку разговора мамы и дочки.

Mother: Dear Kate! Don’t be late! Wake up! It’s seven o’clock sharp!

Kate: Oh, Mummy, dear! I can hardly hear what you say. Please, let me stay in my bed. I’m sleepy head.

Mother: Sleepy Kate, you are late! Get up! It’s eight o’clock sharp!

Kate: Oh, Mummy, please, leave me in peace. My eyes are shut. I can’t get up.

Mother: Lazy Kate! I can’t wait Please, get up! It’s nine o’clock sharp

Kate: It’s Monday today. Such a difficult day! I’m so stressed and a bit depressed, And I need some rest to be at my best.

Mother: Shameless Kate! Listen what I say! It’s nearly nine and a quarter! I’ll bring a bucket of water and pour it out of pail As all my words and actions fail.

Kate: Please, don’t, don’t, don’t! It’s time for me to go!

4. Стихотворения

Ученик 1: Who said “Goodnight”, When I was a child? My mother.

Ученик 2: Who dressed my dolls in clothes so gay And showed me often how to play? My mother.

Ученик 3: Who ran to help me when I fell And who could funny stories tell? My mother.

Ученик 4: Who sits at my head when I am in bed? My mother.

Ученик 5: Who is so nice, who is so kind, Another so nice you’ll never find? My mother.

Ученик 6: A mother has so many things to do, From washing, cleaning to tying a shoe. When they forget to wash their faces clean, And their clothes are the muddiest you’ve ever seen.

5. Ромашка

Ребята, а как вы помогаете своим мамам по дому?

На доске нарисована ромашка, на каждом лепесточке по-русски написаны домашние обязанности. Дети подходят к столу и выбирают лепесточки с написанными обязанностями по-английски и прикрепляют к доске.

• Заправлять кровать – make the bed
• Ходить за покупками – do the shopping
• Мыть посуду – do the washing
• Готовить обед – make dinner
• Гладить одежду – do the ironing
• Пылесосить – do the vacuuming
• Выносить мусор – take the rubbish out.

Вот какая красивая ромашка у нас получилась, а теперь подарите цветы мамам.

Дети дарят мамам сделанные цветы-поделки и открытки.
