ВЕДУЩИЙ: Good afternoon! We are glad to see you, my friends. Today you will take part in our game which is called “Home, my sweet home”. This game includes different kinds of tasks which you should do correct. You are divided into two teams. Each team will get a piece of house puzzle for the correct answers. At the end of our game you will make the house from all the pieces you have. The team which collect more puzzles will be the winner.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: But before we start you should give the name for your teams. You have five minutes to think. (Учащиеся придумывают названия своим командам)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: So let`s greet the first team (Первая команда называет себя)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: And now it`s turn of the second team. (Вторая команда называет себя)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: So let`s begin our game. Please be attentive, and listen to the first task. You`ll get a pieces of paper with the words on them. You should make a proverb from this words and translate the proverbs. If you name all the proverbs correct you`ll get the first piece of house puzzle. (Каждой команде раздается набор слов из которых они должны собрать пословицы).

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Now let`s check. The first team read your answers (каждая команда читает свои ответы).

ВЕДУЩИЙ: How clever of you! You cope with this difficult task brilliant. Let`s continue our game. Look at the blackboard, please. On the slide you will see the definition of some words. You should guess which word it is. (Каждая команда пытается угадать по 4 слова, если команда затрудняется ответить, то право на ответ предоставляется команде противника).

  10. A piece of furniture that you sleep on (Bed)
  11. A part of the area next to a house, which has plants and flowers in it (Garden)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: The next task for you will be unusual and creative. We have the magic bag with pictures of furniture. Each team should choose one person from your team, who will try to act what is depicted in the picture you will choose, without words. And each team should guess the words. (sink, lamp, sofa, bed, table, mirror , wardrobe, computer, fridge, cooker.) (Один игрок из команды выбирает картинку и пытается без слов объяснить своей команде, что на ней изображено).

ВЕДУЩИЙ: The next task is called “Sea Battle”. Do you know what this phrase mean? Try to translate into Russian.

УЧЕНИК: That’s right. It`s «Морской бой»

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Each team will get the list where two rooms are depicted and some pictures with furniture. One room is for your team. The other one on your list is the opposite team`s room. You should guess as many pieces of furniture of you opponents` as you can. You should place the furniture in your room as you like. Put each piece of furniture in different squares. You have some minutes to do it. (Каждая команда наклеивает предметы мебели в квадраты, на поле)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Now each team should guess the place of each piece of furniture of the other team. (Игра «Морской бой»). Each team name one position, for example “C 4”. If there is a piece of furniture on this position the opposite team name it.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Now let`s check which team guess more words. (Команды сдают листы и ведущие считают у какой отгадано больше мебели).

  • Bedroom: bed, wardrobe, desk, computer, bookcase.
  • Living room: sofa, armchair, painting, coffee table, fireplace.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: For the next task you need to be attentive. The captain of the first team, you are welcome. The captain chooses one participant who will do this task. So the captain says the word and the participant of the team should spell it. We have five words for each team. If you spell all the words correct, your team will get a piece of house puzzle. If you make a mistake your team won`t get a piece of puzzle. (Произношение слов по буквам. Пять слов для каждой команды. Команда, которая назовет правильно все слова получает часть пазла.) Bookcase, wardrobe, computer, outside, swimming pool, armchair, painting, fireplace, coffee table, downstairs.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Now we will get some pieces of paper. You should cross the word odd out. (Команды вычеркивают лишние слова из списка. Побеждает так команда, которая выполнит задание быстрее.)

ВЕДУЩИЙ: The next task will show how much you are attentive and quick. It`s called “Ladder”. Let`s have a look at the screen. You see five text lines. You should read them correct and as fast as you can. Captain chooses one participant, who will do this task.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: For the next task we need also one participant from each team. On the screen you`ll see the text. You need to read it as much faster as you can, and try to understand what it is about. You have five minutes to write the text.

ВЕДУЩИЙ: Now you see the questions. You need to give correct answers, according to the text. The first team begins. Read the question and give your answer. (Команды отвечают на вопросы по тексту, если команда затрудняется ответить, то возможность ответить предоставляется команде соперника).

I have got a bedroom. My bedroom is great! The room is rather big. There is a lot of furniture: a lamp, a bed, a desk, a computer, a wardrobe and a bookcase. There are chairs, posters and curtains. My computer and my lamp are on the desk. The desk is in front of the window. The bed is next to the bookcase. The wardrobe is in front of it. There are a lot of clothes in it. The posters are on the wall. There is a red carpet on the floor. I haven’t got an armchair but I’ve got three chairs. My bedroom is very nice and I like it very much.

Each team will get special lists with numbers. You should guess which number means each letter and make au a word. Your aim is guess all the words in your list and write them. The team which does it faster than another one will get the last piece of house puzzle. (Команды составляют слова. Та команда, которая выполнит задание быстрее получает ещё один кусочек пазла)
