Last week after school I went to see Alice’s new flat. It wasn’t far from our school, it was really easy to reach. Her house was new and high, but it wasn’t a skyscraper, there were 10 floors in the house. Alice’s neighbours were calm and quiet people, she is never disturbed by them.
When Alice opened the door we came into the hall. It wasn’t very big, but it was cosy. In the hall we took off our coats and caps. Then we went to Alice’s room, which was next to her parents’ bedroom.
Alice’s room was clean and nice. It wasn’t very big, but it seemed spacious. There was not much furniture in Alice’s room. There was a wardrobe in the corner and a sofa next to the wardrobe. In front of the window there was Alice’s desk and a bookshelf nearby. There were a lot of books and magazines and we spent some time reading and watching funny pictures.
Then I saw their living room. It was the biggest room in the flat. There were two armchairs, a TV set and a bookcase in the room. Then we went to the kitchen. Alice took some sandwiches from the fridge and there were some cookies on the table, so we ate them with tea. Everything was very tasty. We washed up after the meal. At five o’clock I went home.
