Ход урока

Warming up.

Describe the most important persons you know using these adjectives:hard-working, reserved, hospitable, enthusiastic, humorous, fun-loving, tolerant, respectful, romantic, easy-going, emotional and sociable.

Students describe famous politicians, pop-stars and journalists.

Do you want to know what kind of person you are? Look at the screen and do this test. And in some minutes you’ll get to know yourselves better.

I’m sure you are eager to know more about your classmate. So, I’ve got a test for you. Here it is. Ask your partner to do the quiz about you.

Everyone has got two personalities – the one that you show to the world and their secret, real personality. It is when you are asleep.

Which position do you usually go to sleep in?

Ask other members of your class: “Which position do you go to sleep in?”

Listen and match the personality traits to the correct position.

You don’t express your real feelings.

VIII. Are you interested in answer? Here they are.

1 .On your back (наспине) -

You are very open, trust people, easily influenced by fashion and new ideas. Don’t like to upset the other people. You never express your real feelings.

You are very secret, worry a lot. You are always easily upset, very stubborn. You are not very ambitious, live usually for today not for tomorrow. You enjoy having a good time.

3.Curled up (калачиком) -

You are a very nervous person. You have a very low opinion about yourself. You are often defensive, shy. You don’t like meeting people; you prefer to be on your own.

You are a well-balanced personality, feel anxious and know all about yourself. You don’t get depressed.

You know a lot of words and expressions. I want you to divide into three groups and discuss your ideas with your friends.

Look at the screen. Use the questions. Interview your partner.

What do you worry about the most?

What is your favourite part of the day? Why?

If you could have any job, what would it be?

If there was a competition for the “Greatest Person in the World”, who would you vote?

What would you most like to know about yourself?

And at the end of the lesson I want everybody to tell about her/his own personality.
