«Travell to the Kingdom of Figures and Numbers»

5 класс (первый год обучения)

Ведущие: King Unite (единица)

Queen Zero (в костюмах)

Им помогает их придворный математикMr. Know-all

King Unite иQueen Zero объявляют конкурсы и победителей, подсчитывают очки.

Mr.Know-all раздает карточки с заданиями, раздает «смайлики» за правильные ответы.

Сценарий

Music

Команды выстраиваются король и королева расспрашивают капитанов.

- Who are you?

- How old are you?

- Where do you live?

- What is your hobby?

- do you like to do sums?

- What are your fpaend1s names?

Капитаны представляют членов команды по порядку: The firstis Ann.

Ann: Hello, I’m Ann. I like to read.

Captain: The second is Andrew.

Andrew: Hello, I’m Andrew. I like to play computer games.

Warning- up: Answer in one word as quick as possible:

1. How many days are there in a week?

2. How many months are there in a year?

3. Which is the third month?

4. How many hours are there in a day?

5. How many minutes are there in an hour?

6. How many years do pupils study at school?

7. How many pupils are there in your class?

Contest1Write the word, use the first letters only:

100, 8, 19 (hen) 12, 11, 9 (ten)

Contest2Write the numeral and then read:

For team1: How much is one plus one?

-… apples growing in the sun.

How much is 2+2?

How much is three plus three?

-… apples on the apple-tree

Contest 4: (blackboard) Who’s sun is hatter?

Найди числительные, выполни указанные действия и ответь на вопрос о возрасте человека.

Contest 6: Whocounts quicker?

По одному участнику от команды получают таблицы с числами от 1 до 20 (вразброс)

Contest 10: За ширмой на столе различные предметы. Их открывают на несколько секунд. Answer: How many things are there on the table? (Числопредметовменятьнесколькораз)

Contest 11: «Bingo». Каждая команда заполняет свой квадрат числами от 1 до 20. King Unite и Queen Zero называют числа от 1 до 20 в любом порядке. Выигрывает та команда, первой зачеркнувшая все свои числа.

Riddle exchange: команды задают друг другу свой вопрос:

Team1: There are nine cakes

On a little plate;

I eat one of them

Team2: Five little dogs

Playing by the door;

One runs away

And now there are… (4)

Time for fun: Mr. Know-all tells a joke.

Teacher: How much is 3+1?

Alec: I don’t know.

Teacher: well, Alec! I can help you. Suppose I give you three dogs and then one dog. How many dogs do you have now?

Alec: 5 dogs

Teacher: Why 5?

Alec: Because I have 1 dog at home.

Questions: How much is three plus one?

Can Alec do ?

Contest 12: Riddles for the teams:

How many flowers do you see?

How many flowers do you see?

Eight in Tanya’s hands, nine in Sasha`s hands.

How many flowers do you see? (17)

2) Our class has two Bellas,

Two Jims and two Stellas,

Three Anns and three Dicks,

Five Kates and three Bills,

Five Nells and two Jills,

But we have only one Paul,

Can you count them all? (40 pupils)

Recreation the pupils dance and act some short dialogues.

King Unite и Queen Zero count the «smiles», announces the points and the results of the game.

The winner-team receives a «Certificate», everybody gets sweet prizes.

Участники: учащиеся 2^а и 2 ^б классов.

4. Презентация выставки работ учащихся 2^а класса- «my ABCbook»

5. Ученица 2^а класса читает свое любимое стихотворение «TheQuarrel»:

The start of it was slight,

The end of it was strong,

He said he was right,

I knew he was wrong!

We hated one another

The afternoon turned black

Then suddenly my brother

Thumped me on the back,

So he was in the right.

7. Ученики 2^а класса поют песню «What is yourname»

8. Игра №2: найди на картинках буквы алфавита и назови букву, которой на картинках нет (P). (по 2 человека от класса, кто быстрее)

9. Пока учащиеся готовятся, ученики 2^а класса инсценируют стихотворение «Apig went totown» (6 человек). У каждого в руках большая игрушка- «герой» своего куплета.

10. Игра №3 кто быстрее составит слово из букв. Учителя называют слово, ученики с соответствующими буквами в руках выбегают и становятся в нужном порядке (кто быстрее и правильно)

Rubber- r, u, b, b, e, r.

11. Диалог- интервью. «Корреспондент» с микрофоном расспрашивает ученика 2^а класса; 2^б класс:

- Hello! What is your name!

- Hi! My name is Pete.

- How old are you?

- I am 8.

- Where do you live?

- I live in Vladimir.

- Have you got a pet?

- Yes, I’ve got a mouse and a puppy.

- Can you sing?

- No, I can’t.

- Can you dance?

- Yes, I can.

- Thank you. Good- bye!

- So long!

12. Зарядка- разрядка.

«Гости»- ученики 5 класса отдают команды, ученики 2^х классов выполняют их, только услышав слово «please».

- Stand up and stand straight (please)

Выигрывает класс, сделавший меньше ошибок

13. Игра №4 «Буквы и цифры»

Учитель называет цифру в пределах 1-12. ученики называют букву алфавита, соответствующую этому номеру.

14. Выступление «гостя», ученики 7 класса - победитель школьного фонетического конкурса читает басню «Thewise littlebird». Ее друзья в костюмах персонажей басни инсценируют ее (пантомима)

15. Подведение итогов игр. Награждение всех учащихся сладкими призами. Заключительное слово учителей

16. Финал. Все ученики 2^а и 2^б классов поют под музыку песню про алфавит.

«That’s What it all about»

(Fashion Party)

(for the pupils of the 9^th grades)

Оформление: цветные шары, манекены, столы с одеждой, дорожка- подиум, плакаты с цитатой А.П. Чехова, прожектор и экран.

Сценарий

Teachers: Hello, guys, we are glad to see you at the party. Look at the decorations and tell us once again the topic of our party. («Fashion. Clothes.») What words suit this topic? (Fashion, design, clothes, to sew, fashion designer, conservative, traditional, original, modern, tendency, to made of, leather, cotton, revival, folds, unisex, to look smart, collection, coat, shirt, …etc)

The person who sounds the last word gets a sweet prize.

Thanks a lot! Now we give the floor to our comperes, pupils of the 9^th form.

Comperes 1, 2: -One of Chekhov’s characters said that everything must be nice in a person-face, clothes, spirit and mind.

- What is «fashion»? It’s the way or style in which clothes or other things are made at a particular time. Everybody (especially young people) would like to look smart and modern. But there is always the question of what is fashionable and what is beautiful.

- What and who teaches you to choose what suits you best?

(parents, friends, teachers, TV programmes, fashion magazines, Internet, culture in general…)

-Fashion changes every year. It’s difficult to keep up with it. But youngsters try to do it. Nowadays young people dress similar in different counties adults is rather conservative about clothes. They choose clothes of traditional design.

That’s why there is often misunderstanding between parents and their children about fashion.

- We’ve got some «specialists» in various styles. Here they are. (Pupils 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 appear in turn. Each of them represents a style and says a few words about it (his/her clothes proves it):

Unisex fashion

Grange

Sports clothes

The Beatles look

Country look

Then «a fashion magazine Observer» speaks about the periods of British fashion. (pupil 7). He also explains the meaning of the words «blazer», «mackintosh», « jeans», «french» and speaks on the history of them.

Compere 1: - Dear friends! You see, each century is noticed with its clothes. Now, look at the pictures and photos and guess what century it is. Proveit. (показывают репродукции картин русских художников, фотографии и иллюстрации из журналов)

Compere 2: - You know that people of a certain profession have got a certain clothes. Look and guess the profession of the persons (наэкране).

Compere 1: - Now, look around and find in the hall the pupils dressed in

clothes for sports

clothes for parties

disco clothes

clothes for classes

Are there any? Explain your choice.

Compere 2: - There are some professions connected with fashion. What are they?

a model: it is someone who shows, demonstrates clothes

a fashion designer: it is a person who designs clothes

a dress maker: it is a person who makes clothes

Contest 1:

Compere 1: - To design clothes is rather difficult but interesting. Designers are real artists. Can you design clothes? Let’s see it. Who wants to take part in our contest of fashion designers? We need 2+2 designers and 1+1 models. You need some time (работаютсприготовленнойодеждой)

Compere 2: (Contest 2):

The second profession which is not less important is dress-maker. Is anybody going to because a dress- maker? We also need two models. Your task is a romantic blouse and a long skirt.(работаютсприготовленнойтканью,ножницами, иголками,булавками)

MUSIC. (даетсявремя 10 минут)

Compere 1: By the way, do you know any Russian and foreign fashion designers? (Юдашкин,Зайцев,Чепурин,Диор, Гуччи,Карден, …)

Now you are lucky to see the latest fashion collection «Paris: season spring/summer.»

MUSIC(через мультимедийный проектор на экране представлен фильм о последней коллекции французских модельеров; ведущие комментируют показ)

Compere 2: It’s time to see the results of our contests. Give your opinions (some pupils speak out). Express your opinions with your applauses.)(The winners of contests 1 and 2 receive prizes)

Compere 1: The proverb says «Tastes differs». Most girls prefer trousers.

Boys, what would you like girls to wear: trousers or skirts and dresses? Give your reasons.

Compere 2: Girls, what would you like boys to wear: jeans and T-shirt or suits, shirts and ties? Give your reasons.

Compere 1: Look, everybody! What about school uniform? Who wants it at school? Raise your hands. Why? Who is against it? Why? Our school fashion designer can show you the example of a modern school uniform (былораньшеданозадание). Do you enjoy it? It’s quite modern and comfortable, isn’t it?

Comperes 1, 2: - Here we are at last. It’s the top of our party- its most exciting part- fashion show (дефиле)

MUSIC- We’ve got some school models; they are eager to show you the best examples of different styles and fashion. Enjoy it! (Comperes comment on the show, e.g. Look! It’s a wonderful sport suit made of cotton of bright colours. Red is in fashion now).

(sport clothes, clothes for rest, office, parties, traveling, work in the garden, for home, studies at school, and at last a girl and a boy demonstrate their wedding clothes). All the models appear on the podium.

Teachers: The English proverbs say: «Beauty is a very fine thing, but you can’t live on it»

«It’s not the good coat that makes the gentleman»

«Appearances are deceptive»

What does it mean? Fashion and appearances are important, but sometimes fashionably dressed people turn out to be rude, silly, impolite and cruel. Sometimes old- fashioned or poorly-dressed people are very friendly, clever, well-educated. Do you remember Chekhov’s words we had mentioned at the beginning of our party? So, we wish everything is nice in you: face, dress, spirit and mind. Good luck!
