I might go trick or treating

Ведущий 1: Hello, friends! Let`s begin our holiday, the witches holiday.

Ведущий 2: Hello dear witches, wizards, ghosts and other friends of mine. We`ve gathered here to celebrate the most important holiday- Halloween.

Ведущий 1: In Great Britain Halloween is celebrated on the 31 st of October. It is holiday for children and young people. Children dress up in the costumes and masks of witches, goblins or skeletons and go trick or treat. They ring doorbells and ask for candies, apples or coins. If they do not receive a treat they may play a trick on you. Children may slap at sidewalks or front doors with socks filled with flour. They may swear windows and parked cars with shaving cream or soap. As the night is usually quite dark the children take with them a lantern made from a pumpkin. On an empty pumpkin they cut out slits for two eyes, a nose and a mouth and put a lighted candle inside. It`s Jack-o-Lantern. Jack-o-Lantern got his name from a fellow named Jack who according to an old Irish legend was so stingy with his money that he was not allowed into heaven. But poor Jack had played pranks on the devils so he was not allowed into hell either. Instead he is destined to wander around forever with his lantern waiting Judgment day. This is how the English celebrate Halloween.

Ведущий 2: Listen to the poem “October" which is about our party.

The month is amber

Gold and brown

Blue ghosts of smoke

Float through the town

Great V`s of geese

Honk overheads

And marples turn

A fiery red

Frost bites the lawn

The stars are slits

In a black cat`s eyes

Before she spits

At last small witches

Goblings, hags

And pirates armed

With paper bags

Their costumes hinged

On safety pins

Go haunt a night

Of pumpkin grins.

Ведущий 1: Oh, I see that Jack-o- lantern is here. Comehere,Jack (Появляется Джек в сопровождении привидений и рассказывает о себе стихотворение.)

Sometimes big and sometimes small,
But always round and yellow.
When children make my famous grin
Then I'm a scary fellow.

Ведущий 1 You can see the symbols of Halloween.

Ведущий 2: Listen! I can hear some steps.

Потом на сцену выходят дети в костюмах тыкв или с рисунками тыкв и разыгрывают стихотворение Five Little Pumpkins.

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.
The first one said, "Oh my, it's getting late."
The second one said, «There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "But we don't care!"
The fourth one said, "Let's run and run and run!"
The fifth one said, "I'm ready for some fun."
Ooooooo ooo went the wind and out went the light,
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Выходят на сцену ведьмы с метлами, выгоняют “тыквочек”.

Jack: Ho,ho,ho

You don`t know

Who it was that scared you so?

Watch out what you do

Watch out what you day

Jack-o-Lantern will get you

If you are too gay.

Ghosts:Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!

We`ll get you!

Join hands in a ring

We`ll dance and we`ll sing

And when is fun over

A treat you may bring.

Ведущий 1 : Let`s sing a song “Looby - loo”. Try to sing and dance well or you`ll be punished by all the witches and wizards who are here. (Все встают в круг и поют песню, одновременно выполняя движения в такт словам)

Ведущий 2:- Look! Don`t you see two witches. They are coming here. (Подходят 2 колдуньи)

Ведущий 1:I am happy to introduce the witches of the wonderful Land of Oz to you.

Колдунья 1:Hello! Don`t you know that we are the greatest witches in the world? I am sure you do. But you should also know that we can fly everywhere and do everything we want. (Разыгрываютшутки)

Колдунья 2:Somebody is coming. May be all the 4 witches will come. They are so funny when they are quarrel. ( ПоявляетсяХингема)

Хингема: I am sure you`ve heard about me. But where is my cat? Puss-puss-puss!( Подходит девочка одетая в черное кошка)

Кошка:Meow! Meow! Meow! Watch me make a bow.

Хингема:My Pussy. My dear pussy. If you look around, you`ll see a wonderful land which belongs to me.

( Прилетают еще 3 ведьмы)

Стелла:MynameisStella.I am the greatest fairy in the world.

Хингема : This is my country. I was the first to come here.

Стелла : Let`s not quarrel .This country is big enough for all of us.

Бастинда: You are wrong. I am the greatest witch in the world and I don`t want to share anything with anyone even with my sister. So be careful I`ll make toy suffer.

Виллина : Excuse me for interrupting you but it`s very bad to quarrel. I`ll look into it and tell you what to do. (Смотрит вкнигу)

Book says we must not quarrel. We have to be together if you don`t want to be defeated.

Бастинда: I don’t want to be defeated.

Хингема : Let` not quarrel anymore

Виллина : We must be friendly

Стелла : We shall live in peace and all of us we`ll rule over this country.

Ведьмы и колдуньи поют песню Ten Little Witches и уходят со сцены.

One little, two little, three little witches,
Four little, five little, six little witches,
Seven little, eight little, nine little witches,
Ten witches in the sky!
Ten little, nine little, eight little witches,
Seven little, six little, five little witches,
Four little, three little, two little witches,
One little witch, Bye-bye!

На сцену выходят наряженные дети и разыгрывают сценку «Шутка или угощение»

Trick or Treat.Trick or Treat,
Give us something good to eat.
Give us candy, give us cake,
Give us something sweet to take.
Give us cookies, fruit and gum,
Hurry up and give us some.
You had better do it quick
Or we'll surely play a trick.
Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat,
Give us something good to eat.

Ведущий 1:Our party is coming to the end and we invite all of you to take part in “Halloween Fashion Show” (Наряженные “страшилки”выстраиваютсяврядиподмузыку,иаплодисментызрителейпроходяткругпочета.Жюри комментирует костюмы и награждает всех участников.)

Дегустация “страшных” блюд, приготовленных учащимися.

Жюринаграждаетлучшего “кулинара”.

Ведущий 2:Well, I am very glad to see your happy faces. But our party has come to the end. Just before we leave we would like to give you our souvenirs in memory of our party.
