Цель урока: обобщение и систематизация знаний по теме «Британская еда».

Задачи урока:

Воспитательные:

- развивать чувство ответственности, умения работать в коллективе;

- способствовать расширению кругозора учащихся.

Развивающие:

- развивать мышление, воображение, внимание, память.

Образовательные:

- совершенствовать фонетические и лексические навыки говорения;

- совершенствовать навыки монологической речи;

- развивать умения аудирования;

- формировать умение использовать в речи грамматической структуры tobe madeof/from; местоимений some,any.

Оборудование:план-конспект урока для учителя, карточки для учащихся, презентация с использованием видео.

Вид урока: комбинированный.

Организационный момент.

-Good morning, friends! I’m glad to see you. How are you? Are you fine today? That’s nice. If you are ready, let’s start our lesson.

British meals.

Traditionally English people have three meals a day:breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served in the morning. It used to be large meal with cereal , eggs and bacon, sausages, tomatoes. But such a large breakfast takes a long time to prepare and is not very healthy. Nowadays, Britain’s most popular breakfast consists of cereal, toast with marmalade, juice and yogurt with a cup of tea or coffee.

Lunch is a light meal. Most people have no time to go back home for lunch so they eat at school, cafes or restaurants. For lunch they have soup, meat, potato.

But the packed lunch is the most common thing to eat. A packed lunch normally consists of some sandwiches, a packet of chips, an apple and a can of something to drink, for example, coca-cola. The contents are kept in a plastic container and you take it with you when you go to school or work.

Tea is very popular among the English; it may almost be called their national drink. The English like it strong and fresh made. The English put one teaspoon of tea for each person. Tea means two things. It is a drink and a meal.

British people drink tea at any time of the day, but traditional time is 5 o’clock. They like tea with milk.

The main meal is dinner, which is usually between 6 and 7 p. m. A typical evening meal is a meat dish with vegetables and dessert.

The most important meal of the week is Sunday dinner. The traditional Sunday dish used to be roast beef, but nowadays pork, chicken or lamb. On Sunday evenings people have supper or high tea.

Sandwich

The Earl (граф) of Sandwich lived in the 18^th century. He liked playing cards for money. He often played day and night. Once he played for 24 hours running. Servants (слуги) brought him food - some meat and some bread. The Earl didn't want to stop playing while he ate. He put some meat between two pieces of bread! In this way he could play without stopping for eating. From the name of this man the word SANDWICHcame into being.
