Expressiveness is the essential quality of the human voice, which is in line with the qualities of a good speech, accuracy, richness, consistency, relevance, etc. Attention to the expressive aspect of speech forms the ability to Express intonation, tone, gesture, facial expressions, pace of speech, human emotions, attitude to the event, a call to action; contributes to a more exact and impressive expression of their thoughts and feelings.The necessity of teaching students the ability to use linguistic means of expressiveness of speech is emphasized by many scientists: V. A. Artemov, E. A. Bakhmutova, I. Ya. Blinov, B. N. Golovin, I. B. Golub, L. A. Gorbushina, N. And. Zhinkin, T. A. Ladyzhenskaya, M. R. Lvov, D. E. Rosenthal, M. Rybnikova, and many others. Everyone recognizes the special importance of primary school age in mastering speech, in the formation of the ability to use the means of expression of oral speech.
Expressive intonation requires special work on the reading lessons and writing lessons in the period of literacy. It is well known that a full expressive reading is possible when the reading technique of younger students is automated. It is at the initial stages of learning to read that much attention should be paid to the conscious use of means of expression: tempo, rhythm, pitch and strength of the voice, logical stress, the ability to recognize the punctuation mark standing in front in time and tune in to the necessary intonation prompted by this sign.
For the purposes of forming the expressive speech of the teacher of primary classes use a phonetic rhythm.For the first time the method of phonetic rhythm was proposed by T. M. Vlasova and A. N. Pfafenrodt v as a new method for the formation and correction of the pronunciation side of speech of hearing impaired children [2].However, the use of this speech material has yielded good results when working with normally developing primary school students.
According to N..Kotsur, using the phonetic rhythm in a period of literacy not only forms the intonational expressiveness of speech to first graders, but also contributes to the development of pronunciation syllable of the material offered in the pages of "Alphabet".
Phonetic rhythm, built in an entertaining game form, is developing in nature, and can also be used during the physical education [3, p. 11]. The use of phonetic rhythm in reading syllabic series provides students with mastery of the above means of expression.
Here are a few of the exercises used N..Kotsur on the lessons of literacy in the development of intonational expressiveness of speech on the basis of syllabic ranks.

Work with the use of phonetic rhythm trains the speech apparatus of first-graders and pronunciation skills, as well as provides psychological comfort in the classroom, both children and the teacher. In addition, this organization of work during literacy not only contributes to the formation of reading skills, but also develops intonational expressiveness of speech of younger students.
