Разработка урока английского языка в 7 классе

Тема: « Пример для подражания. Первый космонавт.»

Цели:Знакомство с новыми лексическими единицами.

Развитие учебно-организационных умений и навыков, умения работать в парах.

Совершенствование навыков использования в устной речи простого прошедшего времени, специальных вопросов.

Воспитание чувства интернационализма, патриотизма, гордости за свою страну, развитие интереса к науке о космосе.

Задачи:научить собирать фактический материал для раскрытия содержания, организовать ознакомление со словами и их обработку и употребление в ответах на вопросы, научит использовать определенный, неопределенный, нулевой артикли в ответах на вопросы, в упражнениях, организовать диалогическое высказывание по тексту, научить читать текст про себя с извлечением необходимой информации.

Подготовка:подготовка копий текстов для каждого учащегося, создание творческих презентаций по индивидуальным заданиям.

Оборудование:УМК Кузовлев В.П. «English 7», тексты для ознакомительного чтения, тексты для работы в парах, мультимедийный проектор.

Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие:Good morning, children! How are you? Перспективаработынауроке:

Today we are going to speak about the famous people of our country. You will read texts and listen your classmates. Слайд 1, 2.

1. Беседа с дежурным:

Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What day is it today? What was the day yesterday? What day of the week is it today? What season is it now? (рапорт дежурного)

1. Фонетическаязарядка.

Let us do some phonetic drills. Say after me please: “All men can’t be first”. («Не всем дано быть первыми» - проговаривание и объяснение поговорки)

1. Работа с лексическими единицами.

Work with partner. Ask and answer questions to find the missing information in the following short biography of Gagarin. For example,what was Yuri Gagarin? When was Gagarin born? What was Yuri Gagarin? Who was the first pilot-cosmonaut of our Coun­try? When was Gagarin born? Was he born in Moscow or in the Smolensk region? Yura was an active and curious boy, wasn't he? When did Gagarin's family move, to Gzhatsk? What did Yuri Gagarin graduate from in 1951? When did Gagarin begin to fly? He entered a school for pilots, didn't he? Who flew into space on the 12th of April, 1961?

SPACE EXPLORATION

Mankind always dreamed of overcoming gravitation and reaching other planets. But it was only in 1960ies that thisdream was to become reality.

On the 12th of April 1961 the spaceship “Vostok” was launched into space with a man on board and after orbiting our planet successfully returned to the Earth.The first man to overcome gravitation and orbit the Earth was Yuri Gagarin.

This day went down in history of mankind as an outstanding achievement, opening the space era. In the course of space exploration there have been lots of achievements of world science and technology. This period saw the launching of many satellites, numerous space laboratories. Among the achievements we may enumerate the landing of automatic sta­tion on the Moon, the flights of space laboratories towards Venus and Mars.

There are the years of manned space flight programs: Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman-cosmonaut to make space flight, A. A. Leonov achieved the first «space walk», the first Soviet experimental station with four cosmonauts on board went into orbit, and the first American expedition launched the Moon.

The soviet «Lunokhod», automatic orbital stations «Soyuz» and other sрасе laboratories opened up a new period of space exploration. From the first experiments scientists went over systematic exploration of space.

There is a direct link between the development of space research programs and different earth technologies.

Yuri Gagarin was the first cosmonaut in the world. Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin was born on the 9th of March, 1934/ He was born in the village of Klushino in the Smo­lensk region.

Yura was an active, brave and curious boy. His father was jack of all trades and he helped his son when Yura made toy planes by hand. But the war began, re uri Gagarin and his mother, father, brother and sister left their house and had to live in a dug-out.

In 1951 Gagarin graduated from a vo­cational school in Lyubertsy near Moscow. Yuri Gagarin attended an aeroclub and began to fly when he was a student of a technical secondary school in Saratov.

In 1955 he entered a school for pilots. Then he became a pilot and joined the first group of cosmonauts.

In 1960 Gagarin began to prepare for the flight into space.

On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gagarin flew into space and spent 108 minutes there. It was the first tjme in history that the Russian spaceship "Vostok" with the man on board was in space. After his flight he visited many countries and saw millions of people. Gagar­in became a Hero of our country.

He died in 1968, but people always re­member the first Russian cosmonaut.
