Цели:
1). Активизация страноведческого материала.
2). Совершенствование развития внимания, памяти и быстрой реакции.
3). Совершенствование воспитания уважения к культуре, обычаям и традициям стран изучаемого языка и чувства гордости за культурное наследие своей страны.
4). Совершенствование коммуникативных навыков.
Задача:
Развивать умение у обучающихся общаться на иностранном языке.

Good morning, boys and girls! We are very glad to see you at the quiz named “What do you know about Great Britain? ”. I want you to be very attentive, to give correct answers and get good results. Let’s welcome our players! (Представлениеучастниковсначалаведущим)
Now a few words about the rules. The game consists of three rounds. Each round contains three topics. Every round lasts 10 minutes. Each question of the first round will cost from 10 to 50 points, of the second one from 60 to 100 points and of the third game from 110 to 150 points.
