I. Организационный момент.
1.1. Приветствие, подведение обучающихся к теме урока.

Teacher:Goodmorning,dearstudents!I’m glad to see you and I hope that you are in a good mood. Sit down, please. Today we have unusual lesson. But first of all, let me introduce myself: my name is ElenaVladimirovnaErmakova. I am a teacher of English at the Autoroad College. We have some guests. I ask you to be active, attentive and considerate. And I hope you will do your best.
Let’s start our lesson. Open your copybooks, write down the date. What date is it today? What day of the week is it today?

Teacher:Education includes different kinds of learning experiences. In its broadest sense, we consider education to be the ways in which people learn skills, gain knowledge and understanding about the world and about themselves.
Для настройки обучающихся на беседу по теме используется высказывание.

The better a person is educated, the greater his/her chance for success and high living standard is.

2.2. Введение знаний. Речевая зарядка. Активизация лексики по теме (совершенствование произносительных навыков).

Teacher:After finishing nine classes of secondary school the young people can continue their education at different kinds of vocational or technical secondary schools or colleges. You can not only learn general subjects, but receive a speciality there. After finishing a secondary or vocational school, the young people can start working or they may enter a university. Professional training makes it easier to get a higher education.(Слайд 12)
The aim of vocational education is primarily to prepare the students for a job.But if you want to get a good job you should to be an educated person. But every educated person, every good specialist has to know English, because it is absolutely necessary nowadays.(Слайд 13)
Well, learning a foreign language is not an easy thing. It is a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and patience.

TEXT
The Saint-PetersburgAutoroad College was founded in 1944. Today our college is a modern educational institution. There are many studies, workshops, a rich museum, a library, a large canteen. Our college is well-equipped and uses computer training system in educational process. There are three departments in it: roads construction department, automobile department and welder department.
The College keeps the best traditions of the Secondary Professional Education in our Saint-Petersburg. It successfully introduces prospective educational technologies. The students are given a state diploma after graduating the college. Many graduates have completed their course of studies at the AutoroadCollege and have become outstanding figures in their respective fields.

It is easier for the teachers to show presentations. To give a good lesson a teacher has now all multimedia tools. besides his knowledge.
Teacher: Well, you see how it is important to have a well-equipped study. Nowadays it is impossible to get a good education without modern gadgets.
Совершенствование лексических навыков.
Подготовка к работе в группах, выдача заданий.
Преподаватель делит группу на три подгруппы. Каждая подгруппа получает кроссворд. Задание: за определённый промежуток времени
(1 мин.) найти как можно больше слов.
