1) Учитель предлагает учащимся актуализировать владение лексикой по теме и соотнести слово со значением, рассказать о преимуществах и недостатках различных видов путешествий.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of camping/glamping/package holiday/hitchhiking? What’s your favourite type of holiday?

Camping - the activity of staying in a tent on holiday.(+you can enjoy your rest in nature/ there is a lot of peace and quiet but there a lot of annoying mosquitoes)

Hitchhiking- a way of travelling by asking for free rides in other people’s cars, by standing at the side of the road and trying to get passing cars to stop.(+ it’s adventurous but at the same time it’s dangerous)

​Backpacking -travelling on holiday carrying your equipment and clothes in a backpack.(+it is cheap, but your backpack can be heavy to carry, it is physically demanding)

Package holiday - it is a convenient way to travel. Things like flights, hotels, and activities are all-inclusive and are usually organised by a travel agency. (+you don’t have to plan everything yourself, but it is less adventurous)

Solo travelling -travelling and exploring new places without a group.(+you can explore different places at your own pace, but sometimes you might feel lonely)

Glamping- It is a comfortable outdoor experience with luxurious amenities that don’t usually come with traditional camping. Staying in stylish tents, cabins, or tree - houses creates a unique and cosy atmosphere. (+ you can be close to nature and enjoy household amenities but it can be expensive)

You have 3 minutes to do this task.

Now swap your worksheets with your partner and check them for mistakes.

If there are no mistakes, you give your partner a high grade, if there is one mistake – a good grade, if there’re two or three mistakes – an average grade, if you have more than three mistakes, you have failed your task.
