Dear amateurs of literature and art. My project is devoted to the light memory of our countrywoman, the member of writers and journalists’ league. This is the famous writer – K. Timbikova, who was awarded to Husain Yamashev’s prize. On November 16^th, 2010 she would be 73 years old.

This memorable date makes us think more about the writer, skim through her numerous tales and short stories, recall the stages of her biography every time, surprising at beauty of her relations with people and depth of her thought.

Koyash Timbikova was born on November 16^th 1937 in the village Narat Elga of Chistopol region in the Republic of Tatarstan. She was born in the family of physicists and lyric poets. Her father-Zakir was a mathematician, her mother-Saniya was a linguist. They both were rewarded with Lenin’s order. The elder sister-Enghe was a linguist, the elder brother Azat took part in the Ggreat Patriotic War, he had a lot of medals and orders. He was a teacher of Physics and Mathematics. Her younger sister Chachak was a mathematician too. Brought up in the spirit of poets and physicists she chooses journalism.

On literary stage K. Timbikova appears with publication of the tale «Exam» which was highly evaluated by literary judge of poetry Naky Isanbat, who became the constant watcher of her creative activity.

The main problems in her creative activity are: honor and dishonor, justice and lawlessness, intertwining with the subject of fight into the name of human happiness.

K. Timbikova had been working in the editorial of literary magazines

«Azat hatyn », «Kazan utlary» for 35 years. Some of her works were published in Bashkir, Azerbaijan, Uzbek, Russian, Belorussian, Lettish and etc.

The translator of her works from tatar into Russian was her husband the man of letters Rayne Gansov, who also successfully translated works of such celebrities as: Ayaz Gilyazev, Barlas Kamalov, Magsum Pasybullin, Nur Gaysin and others. Rayne Gansov translated into Russian some of her works such as: «Winter temptation», «Mystery of the founded letters», «For the sake of you» and others.

K. Timbikova is also an author of many poems, a lot of them became beautiful songs, which are beloved nowadays. The most famous songs are: “Countrymen”

(comp. – S. Sadykova), “I don’t need springtime without you”(comp. – S. Sadykova), “ The faraway spring” (comp. Z. Safiyllina), “We are a single whole”(comp. L. Ahmetova), “Don’t hurry, years”(comp. R. Kuramshina) and others. All these songs describe her Motherland, the native village Old Romashkino, where the writer’s childhood passed. In the creative activity of K.Timbikova there is a very close subject for us –her thoughts about religion-Islam, the most perfect religion in the world. It bases on the deepest standards, principles of human life. The main characteristic features of our mothers are: kindness, mercy, sincerity, purity, cordial attitude, patience and diligence, take roots into Islam. Islam is the most merciful religion, calling us to behave in a good manner for God’s name. (“The daughter of the wave”.) These tales are particularly useful for growing generation. The tales make us think about eternal problems of good and bad, the human’s existence. After reading her tales our souls become pure.

We join the author’s wish that everything on the Earth: the land, water, the sky, the man, plants, animals are closely connected with each other. Every person must take care of every creature on the Earth, show mercy.K. Timbikova, being the author of numerous tales, all her life was in love with tatar theatre. She visited all new premieres in G.Kamal’s theatre, met with many actors and reflected her impressions in her own pages of tales, republic newspapers and magazines.

Being a countrywoman she writes in details the rural customs and traditions of her fellow-villagers and reflects the mode of life, culture of the native land.

Working in the editorial of literary magazines, “Azat hatyn”, “Kazan utlary” ,she was in a personal contact with many famous writers and poets of Tatarstan. She devoted own articles and notes to them. She felt their warm attitude and friendly support. Shaukat Galeev, Madina Malikova, Muhammad Mahdeev, Sh. Mahmutov, Hasan Sariyan, Enuarbek Duysibiev, Sazhida Suleymanova, Sara Sadykova, Vafira Gizzatullina and many other writers presented her books with autographs. Among them special value for us is the book of our countryman Michael Skorohodov “The children of the fire”, it was his gift for K.TimbikovaThe memory about several meetings of K.Timbikova with groups of pupils and teachers is kept at our school museum. The first meeting took place in 1989 where, the author shared with her thoughts about careful attitude to national culture and international upbringing of growing generation. The listeners were delighted with her wonderful works, where her erudition and love to her native land were discovered.In the article “Native land” K. Timbikova writes about our school in Chistopol. While national schools were closed in Kazan, the national education in our town was kept.

K.Timbikova thanks pupils for embroidered calfak, parents and teachers - for their good children and respectful attitude to the history of people, love to national values, culture and literature. She is thankful for the principal of our school Rose Muzipovna Idrisova One more meeting with K.Timbikova took place in 2001. This meeting for pupils and teachers of our school organized Sattarova Alfiya Gusmanovna, the manager of educational department in town Chistopol.

We have looked through only some pages of her life and we are sure she is on the same level with these great countrymen as: Michael Skorochodov, Ruslan Galimov, Shambadal, Haydar Gatin, Shayhenur Hafizov and others. She was attentive and sensitive to people and to beloved native land. She loved children very much, though she had not her own children. She always helped people. We are proud of her today. To my mind, nowadays K. Timbikova is our guest again. But only instead of her is the portrait of the writer and her personal photos, instead of her speech we have only her books, tales, thoughts…

It’s interesting in what way the life of the man can be measured? I think first of all with his personal actions, faithfulness and devotion to his business, love to his Motherland and to his native land.
