Методическая разработка по английскому языку «Literature in our life»

Данная методическая разработка посвящена Году Литературы. На занятии осуществляется работа с биографиями английских писателей, поэзией, студенты представляют свои переводы и проекты книг. Урок построен на принципах личностно-ориентированного обучения в контексте диалога культур.

Содержимое разработки

Конспект урока английского языка “Literature in our life”

Цель – развитие навыков устной монологической речи по теме «Literature»

Задачи:

Образовательные

- развитие навыков просмотрового чтения

- развитие лексических навыков

- развитие навыков аудирования

- совершенствование фонетических навыков

- совершенствование навыков письма

Развивающие

- расширение литературного кругозора, знаний о писателях и поэтах

- развитие внимания, памяти, мышления, воображения

- совершенствование умений слушать друг друга, вести дискуссию

Воспитательные

- развитие эстетических чувств, литературного вкуса

- приобщение к шедеврам мировой литературы

- развитие интереса к чтению художественной литературы

Оснащение урока: авторские проекты студентов, изображения писателей и поэтов, таблицы (while-listening), карточки с именами писателей и поэтов, распечатки с текстами биографий, стихи, цветные мелки.

Оформление доски: число, тема урока, изображения писателей и поэтов (в последствии написание имён), названия проектов студентов, вопросы для рефлексии, домашнее задание.

Read the text and sate whom it is about (William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, David Herbert Lawrence, Emily Bronte, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Clive Staples Lewis, Lewis Carroll, Joanne Kathleen Rowling John Ronald Reuel Tolkien). Have you learned anything new about the authors?

Let’s start with childhood (Stukalova Anastasia).

Anastasia has told us a kind children’s story while Ivanov Ivan will present his alternative one. Thank you.

The patriotic theme has been vital in all times and runs through Kate Fedorishcheva’s work (The Hero of Our Time) It should be mentioned that Kate has already published this material in Russian taking part in Zheleznogorsk conference. Now we’ll listen to the English version.

Catherine Ernandes Haime was inspired by Russian romance sang by Valeria and took it as a basis for her book.

The theme of love and time is deeply and dramatically disclosed in Tatiana Ivashchenkova’s book.

We’ve just enjoyed a fascinating flight of Tatiana’s fantasy. And now we are going to listen to another beautiful and piercing story based on the Slavic legend about Alkonost.

We follow fairytale motives. Our students have taken part in the literary event “Cinderellas Today” and now Anna Yurchenko will present her work “The Spirit of Cinderella”.

So, we’ve listened to our students’ book projects. Which books would you like to read?

Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud
