План-конспект мастер-класса по теме «ConditionalSentences.IWish.» ( 8 класс)

1.Приветствие

Good morning!

How are you today? How’s the weather?

2.Целеполагание

Do you like music? So let’s listen to the song! (Звучитпесня «If you were a sailboat»)

Can you guess the topic we are going to have today?

You are right: conditionals.

What do you know about them? ( there are 3 types of them and we use them when we speak about real or unreal conditions) We are going to speak about some kind of conditionals: how and when we use them.

Ok , we all have something we regret about.

We all dream about something. We all would like to change something.

So look at this tiger. Look at this cutie. What do you think he is dreaming about? Any ideas?

P.: Food.

Is he happy or not? Not really happy. He would like to change something.

If he is thinking about food he is thinking something like that: I wish I had а pizza.

Ok, I have a question for you: which structure do we use if we want to say that we regret about something? That we want to change something? ( I wish ) – Yes, we use I wish.

Right now let’s look at the rule: how we can say about this, how we form this kind of structure. You have such sheets of paper with sentences. Let’s read them.

Can you read the 1^st one?

I wish I had some free time. I wish I could join my friends.

Is it about present? Is it about past? Is it about future?

Actually it is about present. Does this person have free time now? No and he wishes he had free time.

That’s true. We use this kind of structure for present, if we want to change present.

Let’s write down the formula to know how to use this kind of structure. Ok?

F= First we have I wish . What goes next? Look here. Absolutely! A person, a subject.

What goes next?

P.: a verb

T.: in which tense is the verb? Yes, in Past Simple.

2) Now let’s read the 2^nd sentence.

I wish I had attended English lessons at school.

Did the man attend English lessons at school? Did he regret about it?

Is it about present? Is it about past? Is it about future? ….

We use this kind of structure for past, if we regret about past.

3)Now the last one.

I wish you would answer my question.

Actually, this is to change the situation or someone’s behavior which is a bit annoying.

Look at the man. How does he feel? Does he feel happy? Has the person answered his question?

Can you give the formula of this one?

So, we use this kind of structure for future, if we want to change future.

Составление предложений по картинкам. (групповая работа)

Right now let’s have some practice and work in groups. What do they wish to happen? Think like them and make a wish. Choose any picture. Which formula will you use?

( If you have any questions ask for help, OK?) – What are they thinking about? What are they dreaming about? (What does she wish for?)

Well, let have some more practice. Welcome to the netbooks and do the grammar test with the structure 'I wish'. You can use the card with formulas. Ok?( You have about 3 minutes to do it. You can ask me for help.)

Right now you are to make and to write a wish, something you would like to change in the future. You will use the structure “I wish I would + Infinitive”. You have a minute for this kind of work, then you will rub the lamp and your wish will come true.

What would like to change? Are you ready with your sentence?

…, rub the lamp, come on. Let’s hope for gin. Read your sentence. (I wish I would have a dog.) Some day you will have a dog! Your wish will come true.
