СОДЕРЖАНИЕ

Пояснительная записка

Роль игры на уроках английского языка огромна. Она является действенным инструментом преподавания, который позволяет сделать учебный процесс привлекательным, интересным, заставляет учащихся волноваться и переживать.

Все игры можно разделить на две большие группы.

Психологами было доказано, что игра "оправдывает" переход на новый язык. Она является одновременно и интересным видом работы для ученика и аналогом языковых упражнений для учителя, благодаря которым развиваются навыки всех видов речевой деятельности.

Об обучающих возможностях игр известно давно. Многие выдающиеся педагоги справедливо обращали внимание на эффективность использования игр в процессе обучения. В игре проявляются особенно полно и порой неожиданно способности человека.

Игра – особо организованное занятие, требующие напряжения эмоциональных и умственных сил. Игра всегда предполагает принятие решения – как поступить, что сказать, как выиграть? Желание решить эти вопросы обостряет мыслительную деятельность играющих.

В игре все равны. Более того, слабый по языковой подготовке ученик может стать первым в игре: находчивость и сообразительность здесь оказываются порой более важными, чем знание предмета. Атмосфера увлечённости и радости, ощущение посильности заданий – всё это даёт возможность ребятам преодолеть стеснительность, мешающую свободно употреблять в речи слова чужого языка, и благотворно сказывается на результатах обучения. Незаметно усваивается и языковой материал.

Широкие возможности для активизации даёт использования ролевых игр. Известно, что ролевая игра представляет собой условное воспроизведение её участниками реальной практической деятельности людей, создаёт условия реального общения. Эффективность обучения здесь обусловлена в первую очередь взрывом мотивации, повышением интереса к предмету. Ролевая игра учит быть чувствительным к социальному употреблению иностранного языка. Хорошим собеседником является часто не тот, кто лучше пользуется структурами, а тот, кто может наиболее чётко распознать ситуацию, в которой находятся партнёры, учесть ту информацию, которая уже известна, и выбрать те лингвистические средства, которые будут наиболее эффективны для общения.

Игры подразделяются также на коммуникативные и лингвистические.

Коммуникативные игры следует отличать от лингвистических игр, основная цель коммуникативных игр состоит не в решении лингвистических задач, а в организации неподготовленной коммуникации.

Успешное завершение коммуникативной игры заключается в выполнении определенного

задания, нежели правильное построение структуры предложения. Основной акцент в коммуникативной игре делается на успешную коммуникацию, а не на правильную речь.

Конечно, урок иностранного языка – это не только игра. Но стоит помнить о том, что игра способствует развитию познавательной активности учащихся при изучении иностранного языка. Она несет в себе немалое нравственное начало, так как делает овладение иностранным языком радостным, творческим и коллективным.

Далее прилагаются сценарии игр для проведения уроков английского языка.

Игра “The Cleverest”

Цели:

использование лингвострановедческого материала для поддержания мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;

расширение кругозора учащихся за счет сведений о стране изучаемого языка, истории ее народа, культуры и традиций;

формирование уважения к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка;

совершенствование владения английским языком, расширение словарного запаса за счет страноведческой тематики, развитие умений различных видов речевой деятельности на иностранном языке.

Задачи:

повторить пройденный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке во время игры;

повысить уровень мотивации к изучаемому языку;

закрепить уже имеющиеся знания и узнать что-то нового о стране изучаемого языка.

Ведущий: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!

Today we are going to find out who can better cope with his or her emotions, who is the quickest player in your group and finally who is the cleverest pupil in your class. And now, I ask all participants to introduce themselves.

Thank you. Now we know each other and I think it’s high time to start our intellectual game “The Cleverest”.

So let me explain to you some rules.

Our quiz consists of 3 rounds.

The first is Selection Round, after that 6 participants who gave the right answers will take part in the second round. Then there will be the third and the final round. And at last we’ll find out who is the cleverest!

So, are you ready? Let’s start.

ROUND I

Ведущий: Round №2. Each of you will now answer my questions and you will have only 2 minutes for it. You should give as many correct answers as possible. If you don’t know the answer, say “pass”. The jury will count the number of correct answers. At the end of this round we’ll choose only 3 participants who will take part in the final third round. Is it clear? Let’s start.

ROUND III

Ведущий:And at last we are almost at the end of our intellectual game. Now you’ll have the following task: each of you chooses one of 3 topics: History, Geography or Literature. Each topic has its own colour: for example, History is blue; Geography is red and Literature is green. Then here on the screen you’ll see a table with 35 boxes. You should remember location of your boxes with your colour. Then this table will be changed by another one, without any colours. You will name the number of boxes that you remembered and answer my questions according to your chosen topic.

For each correct answer on the question of your topic you’ll get – 2 points, on the question of your competitor – 3 points and if you answer the general question – you’ll get 1 point. Is it clear? Let’s start.

(Каждому из 3х финалистов предлагается на выбор 3 темы (карточки с темами содержатся в приложении). Участник выбирает понравившуюся ему тему. Каждой теме соответствует свой цвет. История – синий, География – красный, Литература – зеленый. Затем на экране появляется таблица с 35 ячейками. Финалисты должны запомнить расположение ячеек, цвет которых соответствует выбранной им теме. Кроме ячеек с цветами 3х тем, в таблице также есть серые ячейки. Таблица демонстрируется 30 секунд. Затем ее сменяет таблица с номерами ячеек, уже не цветная. Участники по памяти называют номера ячеек, и отвечают на вопросы ведущего.

За каждый правильный ответ на вопрос своей темы, участник получает 2 балла. За каждый правильный ответ на вопрос темы соперника, участник получает 3 балла. При ответе на общие вопросы, участник получает 1 балл).

Во время ответов учащихся, одному из членов жюри необходимо вести подсчет баллов. Другой член жюри вычеркивает номера вопросов в специальном бланке вопросов (содержится в приложении), которые уже были выбраны, чтобы избежать повторов. Как только будет полностью разыграны все вопросы одной из тем – жюри называет имя победителя (при условии, что количество его баллов превышает число баллов других участников)

Игра “BrainyStudents”

Группа разбивается на несколько команд. Темы игры написаны на доске. В каждой теме 10 вопросов. Каждому вопросу присваивается «цена» от 10 очков до 100 очков в зависимости от сложности. Команда выбирает тему и называет стоимость вопроса. Например,Famous People – 60. Ведущий зачитывает соответствующий вопрос. Если команда дает неправильный ответ, то «цена» вопроса вычитается из заработанной суммы баллов.

Идея игры заимствована из телевизионной викторины «Своя игра».

Игра “Who wants to be a millionaire?’

Цели:

Образовательная: расширение кругозора учащихся за счет сведений о стране изучаемого языка, истории ее народа, культуры и традиций; обучение учащихся самостоятельно добывать знания и использовать их.

Развивающая: развитие познавательного интереса посредством английского языка, повышение мотивации к его изучению.

Воспитательная: формирование уважения к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка.

Практическая: совершенствование владения английским языком, расширение словарного запаса за счет страноведческой тематики, развитие умений различных видов речевой деятельности на иностранном языке.

Оборудование: презентация игры «Кто хочет стать миллионером?»

В игре участвуют 5 пар игроков. После каждого отборочного тура выбирается та пара, которая быстрее всех отвечает на предложенный вопрос. Игрокам предлагается 5 вопросов на английском языке. За каждый правильный ответ участники получают 1 монету. В случае неверного ответа пара выбывает из игры, а на оставшиеся вопросы отвечают зрители.

Now, a few words about the rules of the game. We have four selection tours. After each selection tour the team which manages to give a quick and correct answer will come up to me and they are to answer 5 questions. Each correct answer costs 1$ and the last one supposed to be the difficult one costs 2 euros. So, the more you answer, the more you get money.

The questions which the team doesn’t answer will be suggested to the audience.
