The aims of the lesson:
Up bringing: to motivate the students in learning the foreign languages, to form a sense of responsibility for the mode of the school day , to create an English speaking atmosphere and work in groups.
Educational: talking about school day, presentation of the grammar “Articles ” , to enlarge students’ vocabulary with new words, the use of lexical units update on my school day,
Developing: to develop pupils’ abilities in speaking, writing, reading skills, in expressing their own opinions, to improve their pronunciation, memory, to enrich students’ outlook, develop cognitive interest
Type of the lesson: new lesson
Method of the lesson: brainstorming, answer-question, group work and individual work.
Visual aids: active board, slides, cards, grammar tables, posters.
The procedure of the lesson
Warm up:
Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson. Who is on duty today? Who is absent? . What date is it today?What day of the week is today?
What season is it now? What’s the weather like today?
Brainstorming .When is your birthday/? What’s your favouritecolour? Do you like to go to school ? Why? Who is your form teacher?
Pupil 1: I like to go to school because it’s fun.
Pupil 2: I like to go to school because I like to study.

Text for reading : My School day
I am a pupil of the 6-th form, I study at school number 14.
I go to school five days a week. I usually get up at 9.00 o’clock. Our classes start at 2 o‹clock p. m. and last till 7 o›clock p.m. So we have 6 or 7 lessons a day. After second lesson we go to the canteen .We study many different subjects: Russian, English, literatures, history, geography, biology, , mathematics and computer sciences.
Math, literature and history are my favourite subjects. I make good

Text for reading : My School day
I am a pupil of the 6-th form, I study at school number 14.

Math, literature and history are my favourite subjects. I make good marks in these subjects.
Every pupil has a diary where the teachers put down the marks, that pupil has earned at the class. During the classes pupils are to answer the teacher's questions, recite poems, do some exercises, write sentences, count, read.
The pupils are often called to the blackboard. After every lesson the teachers give us home assignment. At the next lesson the teachers check them up. To do good at school one should make home assignments regularly, be active at the lessons and spend at least two-three hours every day studying.
I like studying. My favourite proverb is "Live and learn”

Урок предусматривал следующие цели и задачи:
Воспитательный – повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка;
воспитание положительного отношения к распорядку учебного дня;
Образовательный – знакомство с новой лексикой , связанной с жизнью в школе; совершенствование речевых навыков и умений:
Развивающий - развитие навыков и умений во всех видах речевой деятельности; развитие способности к догадке, развитие памяти .
В ходе урока формировались навыки чтения, говорения , письма , вводилась новая лексика
Ход урока состоял из следующих этапов:
1. Приветствие
2. Мозговой штурм
3. Фронтальный опрос домашнего задания : закрепление лексики, связанной с предметами в речевых образцах;
4. Основная часть. Презентация - Фонетическая разминка с помощью стиха о С. Гранде ;
Введение новых слов и фраз, текста.
5. Этап закрепления материала
Для осуществления закрепления нового языкового материала учащимся было предложено прочитать и перевести текст с данными словами
Для активизации языкового материала в речи учащихся была предложена игра , где учащийся должны были сопоставить предметы и действия, которые выполняются на этих занятиях.
Развитие учащихся на уроке осуществлялось, в полной мере были задействованы все учащиеся, в том числе и слабоуспевающие.
Объяснение грамматики –Артикли осуществлялось с помощью предметов, находящихся в классе и закреплялось заданиями на карточке.
Домашнее задание соответствует теме урока: написать о своем школьном дне
