MY PROFESSION A TRANSLATOR

Many people from childhood know who they want to become. Most often, when asked about their future profession, children answer that they want to become astronauts, firefighters, actors, doctors. Since childhood, I was sure that I wanted to learn several languages. How to apply this knowledge, I still did not guess. At school we studied languages, and I decided to go to another foreign language course, which was not so common, but the study of which gave me, of course, great pleasure. The teachers were against me going to study at the pedagogical university, because they believed that all educated people should know languages ​​and this is not a serious profession at all. In this matter I had to argue with them. After school, I chose what I liked, despite the risk of a quarrel with my parents. They accepted my decision normally, and I was glad that I had acted in my own way, because the choice of a profession would determine my future life path, which I, and not my parents and friends, would have to follow.

The profession of a translator is very common throughout the world. It's not enough just to learn the courses to become a good interpreter. It is necessary to finish the university and constantly replenish your knowledge, as well as constantly to be in the profession, as the language has the property to forget over time. In our time, the work of translators is facilitated by new technologies, for example, electronic translators, which can be freely found on the Internet. It seems to me that this profession is very creative, even when listening to the translation of foreign films, one can understand this. If the translator is talented and competent, the film will be much more interesting than when the translator does the work without enthusiasm and does not have a sense of humor. To become a good interpreter, you need to be a fairly erudite person and understand the topic on which the text for translation is written. As a consequence, you have to read a lot. The work of the synchronizer interpreter is the most difficult, because, at times, these people convey the meaning of important political and other negotiations. They must know two languages ​​so well to avoid the slightest mistake. To achieve good results, you need to work very hard and overcome obstacles, but I am confident that I will manage

The choice of profession is a very important step, on which your further fate depends. The profession should, firstly, be to your liking, and, secondly, to ensure you a decent life. For myself, I have already decided that I will become a linguist and a specific language –English and second language German. Every day I give him 3-5 hours. Yes, it is heavy, but so interesting. Sometimes it seems that he does not want to open the door for me, but thanks to perseverance, patience and self-confidence, I step by step achieve my goal. I try to take English from all sides - it’s not only textbooks, grammar, it’s also culture and communication. I try as best as possible in everyday life to create a language environment around, at least for a couple of hours a day. If I meet a German on the street, I will definitely come to him and ask for something or offer my help. It is so nice when you understand, and you understand a native speaker. The most important thing in learning a foreign language is a great love for it, as well as respect. My acquaintance with the English language happened when I was in elementary school, then I got to the performance of the English opera, which made an indelible impression on me. I begged my parents for a long time to tell where these actors came from, what kind of language it was. Seeing my great interest, my parents sent me to a language school, where I opened new horizons of English with great zeal.

I believe that the translator is a very necessary profession in our time. Even if scientists continue to invent ways to translate by machine, a living translator is much better. A translator is one who is a bridge between two sometimes completely different cultures and people; this is one who creates an atmosphere of mutual understanding, friendship and intercultural communication.

I want to become a translator, so I entered the Ablai Khan University, I diligently prepare and will be the best translator.
