Ведущий 1:Dear ladies and gentlemen!Dear Friends! We are glad to welcome everyone who likes English! We are happy to see you today at this special event, which is dedicated to the Week of English at our school.

Ведущий 2:On the 25th of December people celebrate Christmas, one of the most beautiful holidays. Now we are going to speak about Christmas too.

Ведущий 1:Christmas is a holiday, which is loved by children and grown – ups. It is a holiday when everything is decorated with lights and toys, when we see Christmas trees everywhere, when people buy presents and cook special food, send cards and have parties.

Ведущий 2:And we are going to celebrate this holiday now. It will be a Christmas game - competition between five teams. Our pupils will help us to remember the history and the customs of Christmas by showing their knowledge of this beautiful holiday.We hope that all of you will learn a lot of interesting things about Christmas traditions and celebrations ! Please, enjoy yourselves and have a lot of fun
