Страноведческая викторина по английскому языку включает вопросы страноведческого характера, касающиеся различных сфер жизни тех стран, в которых английский язык является государственным. Отвечая на вопросы викторины, обучающиеся могут применить не только знания, полученные на уроках английского языка, но и интегрировать свои знания, полученные на других предметах (истории, литературе, географии). Викторину можно использовать как на уроках, при изучении англоязычных стран, так и во внеурочной деятельности, например в рамках предметной недели иностранного языка.
