2) Educational:.new words connected with school time-table

to train pupils the skills and habits in reading, writing , speaking , asking and talking about subjects at school ;

3) Developing: to develop memory, imagination,

Visual aids: pictures, cards

Method of teaching: visual, individual, explanation

Type of the lesson: talking

Expecting results: pupils can talk about subjects at school and their school time-table.

Procedure of the lesson

I stage – Greeting

Good afternoon, children! Nice to meet you! How are you?

Who is on duty today? Who is absent? Why? What date is it today? Write down, please

II. Brainstorming

What month is before December? What month is after December? What is the weather like for today? What day of the week is it today?

When is your birthday?

III. Phonetic drill

Today we learn the new rhyme :

Mind the clock and keep the rule

Try to come in time to school!

Teacher: let’s write the transcriptions of these words : mind, rhyme, keep, learn, clock .

VI Checking up of the home task : Ex. 2 p. 7 How to say in English 11; 13; 15; 18; 25; 47; 59; 70; 100;

V.Presentation of the new theme: Teacher: Now, try to answer the questions:

— What do you associate SCHOOL with? Children answer

teachers, pupils, a headmaster, books, exercise-books,  pens, pencils, a ruler, a rubber, a diary, to read, to write, to play volleyball , the days of the week

Now open your dairy . What do you see? How many lessons do you have on Tuesday ? What is the key word?- Timetable.

So the theme of our lesson is School  timetable.

I know that all of you like Sport that’s why I’d like to offer you to do exercises. Stand up, please and do exercises with me.
