Teacher: I want to start our lesson with the parable.
One man dreamt of better life. He didn't like the house he lived in, the clothes he wore. In a word, he didn't like anything around him. One day he met a magician who said that he knew about the man's thoughts and was ready to help him. And the man shared his troubles with the magician. The next day the man found himself in a luxurious house. His charming wife prepared a tasty breakfast for him. As days passed on, the man became sadder and sadder. He didn't feel happiness at all. He met the magician again who said that the man had been given everything according to his wish. But these wishes didn't bring happiness because the man had asked for a big house but hadn't asked for a comfort and warmth in the house? he had asked a pretty wife but hadn't asked for love, understanding.
Teacher: How do you think what we will speak about?

Before formulating the topic of our lesson I suggest to look at some proverbs and match them. These proverbs prove our thoughts. Then choose one as the topic of our lesson. How do you want to work: individually or in pairs?
