MY PROFESSION

My dream from childhood was to become a translator, and this dream comes true. I love English. I like reading and studying the history of foreign writers and rulers. It seems to me that the profession of an interpreter suits my interests. Choosing this profession for the future, I will do what I love. In addition, my work provides a lot of opportunities to get a job, which will be directly related to foreign travel. Therefore, there is an opportunity to travel, get acquainted with interesting people and study the culture, population, traditions and life of other countries. However, no matter how attractive this profession is, it has its own difficulties and difficulties.

Being a translator means, first of all, the presence of knowledge of two foreign languages. It is necessary to be able not only to speak a foreign language and understand another's speech without problems, but to translate it easily and quickly, taking into account all the nuances of grammar and stylistics. This implies an ideal possession not only of a foreign language, but also of a Russian. In addition, few know how hard the work of translators is. Any translation, regardless of its type, requires a strong mental strain. However, a good interpreter must possess not only extensive linguistic and encyclopedic knowledge, a huge vocabulary and excellent memory, but also the following qualities: patience, sociability, comprehensiveness, perseverance and thoughtfulness. And depending on which field of translations an expert works, its qualities can be changed, and also can be supplemented.

However, despite all the complexities and disadvantages of this profession, there are certainly more advantages to it. Therefore, the flow of people wishing to become translators does not run out. And I want to be one of them.
