Good morning, pupils. My name is Viktoria Viktorovna. I am glad to see you. Today I will be your teacher of English.

Let’s remember the previous lesson. You learnt about two jobs. They are barista and flight attendant.

What are the advantages of being a barista?

What are the disadvantages of being a barista?

What are the advantages of being a flight attendant?

What are the disadvantages of being a flight attendant?

For most people, going to work every day means dressing up, sitting at a desk and working on a computer. But not for everybody. The topic of our lesson is «The best jobs in the world». Today we are going to learn about the most unusual and fun jobs. Also we are going to work in groups. So the first row will be the first group and the second row will be the second group.

Let’s check up your hometask. Your hometask was ex 4 in your hand-outs.

I want you to look at some of the most unusual, fun odd jobs that are available today.

As I said I want you to work in groups. So you need to help each other and work as a team.

You see the texts in front of you. There are 2 texts in each team. You need to read it carefully because you need to retell these texts to another group later. Two classmates of each groups will retell these texts. Look at the blackboard. Read the definitions.Handy- something useful or convenient.

Hazard - something that is dangerous and likely to cause damage.

You may start reading the texts answering the questions. Also you can make notes.

So it is time to change teams. Natasha will retell ____to the second team. And Daria will retell _____ to the first team.

Now let’s check your understanding by answering my questions according to the texts.

Flexible working hours, a lot of perks such as an excellent health care package, a free pound of coffee and free drinks, making friends, well-paid holidays are the advantages of being a barista.

Dealing with rude customers, a lot of stress during the busiest time of the day, long hours standing on your feet are the disadvantages of being a barista.

You know much about other countries and cultures because you spend time with interesting people. You can meet celebrities and fascinating passengers. You fly anywhere for free sometimes you should pay small tax.

You have to say good bye your holidays. You spend your holidays in the hotels by yourself. Your planes are always change according to every fact to weather. You miss family and friends. Passengers yell at you. Stressful job.
