It’s nice to have a pet at home. This small fluffy ball makes people very happy. Most of my friends have got pets: cats , dogs, rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, parrots ,hamsters, turtles, fish .

A pet is a family member in each family. It teaches people to be responsible for it: to feed in time, to play with it, to walk in any weather ,to give vitamins and what not.

My pet is a cat named Eve. Its colour is white. Its eyes are blue and coat is long and fluffy .It is always full of joy and energy.The Angora cat is characterized as intelligent and inquisitive, while it is also quite active, as well as playful. Its favorite toy is one of theslippers ; it can play with it for a long time. Sometimes I teach my cat new tricks. It can sit on the wardrobe, run on the wall unit, roll and play. In summer when it is hot, it likes to walk and lie on the balcony.

Every day I give tasty food to my cat . It likes to eat canned food such as “Sheba”, “Whiskas”, “Purina 1” . I also give it vitamins for its bones and fur. My pet is very clever; it can understand many words. It cheers me up when I am in a bad mood. I love my cat very much and it loves me too.

My pet is five years old. It likes to eat vegetables and fruit. Sometimes it drinks milk.Dzungarian hamsters are territorial animals. As soon as the animal enters someone else's territory, it will immediately be attacked. That's why you can't keep two or more hamsters in the same cage.

My hamster is very kind. All the members of our family like to play with it . I love it dearly and it loves me too.

I have a friend. Her name is Helen. She has got five pets: a dog, two cats, a gold fish and a rabbit. I think she is a lucky girl. When I ask my parents to buy me a dog or a cat , they say that our flat is too small for it and they don’t want to turn our flat into the zoo.

Sometimes I understand them: all pets need proper care, a lot of spare time and attention.

It means that keeping a pet is a very responsible hobby but nevertheless I really want to have a pet.
