III) Read the text: Hobby

Hobby it is what people like and want to do in their spare time. There are so many hobbies in the world: reading books, fishing, playing computer games, sewing, gardening, cooking, singing, collecting things, music, dancing and others. Now I’d like to tell you about hobbies in my family.

I’ m …. and I’m from Russia. I live with my mum, my dad, my grandma and my sister. Our house is in a big city. Mum and Dad go to work every day, so Grandma looks after the house. Grandma makes breakfast every morning. She does it with pleasure because her hobby is cooking. After breakfast I walk to school with my friend. We have lessons all morning and then I go home. After dinner I ride my bike, walk with my friends, listen to the music. Sometimes I play football or hide-and-seek with my friends in the street and then I do my homework. In the evening I like to play computer games. When Dad comes home, he works in the garden or takes care of his car. I usually help him. In the evenings my sister likes to read books or watch TV. My mother likes to go in for sports when she is not busy. She goes to the swimming –pool 2 times a week and attends her dancing classes.

I think that life without hobby is dull and that’s why people have a lot of hobbies.
