Dear friends, we are glad to see you today. Welcome to our literary drawing-room “Winnie-the-Pooh’s”. What do you know about Winnie-the-Pooh? What do you know about his creator? Let’s study some new information. Gevorkyan Anush prepared a very interesting information for you. Anush,please.
Thank you, Anush. Well, boys and girls, answer a question:
What is the name of Alan’s son? (Christopher Robin)
Khlebnikova Sophia from the 1st form prepared a poem about Christopher Robin.
Hoppity Hop
Christopher Robin goes
Hoppity, hoppity,
Hoppity, hoppity, hop.
Whenever I tell him
Politely to stop it, he
Says he can't possibly stop.
Thank you, very good!
A.A. Milne wrote many poems for his son Christopher Robin. We invite to read the poems.

Politeness
If people ask me,
I always tell them:
"Quite well, thank you, I'm very glad to say."
If people ask me,
I always answer,
"Quite well, thank you, how are you to-day?"
I always answer,
I always tell them,
If they ask me
Politely…..
BUT SOMETIMES
I wish
That they wouldn't.

My heart is not here
My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My heart’s in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;
A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands wherever I go.
Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North,
The birth-place of valour, the country of worth;
Wherever I wander, wherever I rove,
The hills of the Highlands for ever I love.
Farewell to the mountains high cover’d with snow;
Farewell to the straths and green valleys below;
Farewell to the forests and wild-hanging woods;
Farewell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods:
My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here;
My heart’s in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;
A-chasing the wild deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands wherever I go.

March Wind
the march wind is stirring
and a spring tide awakes the sea
hope and blossoming are on the breeze
the air is growing warmer
as the sun at zenith rises higher
and the sky is a seamless shield of blue
I know this change so well
having counted three score and ten
I see that the span of winter is breaking
the icy prison is melting
to move aside for newborn souls
a pageant as old as this timeless zephyr
the march wind transforms
for now the winter fades and passes
and tears of death ascend to the clouds
Winnie-the-Pooh is very funny and kind. Pupils of the 5th form prepared a play for us “Eeyore’s Birthday”.

Storyteller: I am sure you know the story about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. Now you will see a play about them.
One day Donkey Eeyore invited Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet for his birthday party.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Hello, Piglet!Look what a good present I’ve got!
Piglet: Hello Winnie! What is it?
Winnie: It’s a pot of honey. Donkey Eeyore will be very happy. And what have you got for him?
Piglet: J have prepared this beautiful balloon. You see, it wants to fly in the sky. Don’t let it do it . My present is so beautiful! I hope Donkey Eeyore will like it.
Storyteller: So, they started walking but five minutes later Winnie-the-Pooh felt that he was hungry.
Winnie: Hey, Piglet! Can I eat some honey from the pot?
P: I do not know, Winnie.
W: I think, half of the pot of honey will be enough for Donkey Eeyore.
St.: Winnie-the-Pooh ate the honey and they started walking again. Winnie felt hungry, very, very hungry. He liked honey and ate all the honey up!
W. : It is not good to give Donkey Eeyore honey. He does not like honey very much but I do! He will be happy if I give him just a pot.
P.: An empty pot?
W.: It is empty, but it is so useful! You can put everything you want into this pot. For example, your balloon! Oh, no, your balloonis too big! It can not go into my pot. Sorry!
St.: They went on but suddenly the piglet stumbled over a stone and fell down. Bang! What loud noise you can hear!
P.: Winnie! Winnie! My balloon! It is not a beautiful balloon anymore! it is just a piece of rubber.
W.: Do not worry, my friend. It is better than before. Now your balloon can go into my pot. And it can go out of my pot. Into and out, into and out. Canyousee?
St.: The piglet stopped crying and they went to Donkey Eeyore. Suddenly they saw a tail with a bow. The tail was hanging on the bush. But Winnie and Piglet did not understand that it was a tail.
W.: Piglet! Piglet! What is it?
P.: A do not know, Winnie. I have seen it somewhere but I do not remember where.
W.: Let is take it, Piglet.
P.: Ok. Maybe it will be useful for somebody.
St.: They took the tail and soon they saw the Owl who was also going to Donkey Eeyore.
W.: Hello, Owl! Are you going to Donkey party?
Owl: Hello, Winnie! Hello, Piglet! I want to go to my friend but I do not know what present to give to Donkey Eeyore. What is it? I have seen this tail somewhere.
W.: A tail? Is it a tail? We thought it was just a rope with a bow.
P.: We did not know it was a tail!
Owl: I do not know whose tail it is but I think Donkey will be happy to get it. Can you give me the tail, Winnie? I have not got a present but you have!
W.: Of course. You can take this tail as a present to Donkey Eeyore.
St.: They went together and soon came up to Donkey Eeyore. Their friend was standing near the house. He looked very sad.
W.: Hello, Donkey Eeyore! Happy birthday to you! Why are you sad? What is the matter?
Donkey: Hello, Winnie! Hello, Piglet! Hello, Owl! I am very happy to see you. But I have lost my tail, that is why I am so sad….
Owl: Take my present, Donkey Eeyore! Please, Look at this, Is it your tail?
D.: Yes, It is. Thank you very much,dear friends. Where did you find it?
P.: We saw it on the bush. We did not understand it on the bush. We did not understand it was a tail.
W.: Then Owl told us that it was a tail and we wanted to give it to you. But we have got other presents for you (дарит горшок). Do you like it?
D.: Yes, I do!
P.: Sorry, Eeyore, I wanted to give you a beautiful balloon, but you see it is just a piece of rubber.
D.: Thanks a lot! I like your presents, Dear friends.
W.: Happy birthday!
P.: Happy birthday!
Owl: Happy birthday!
D.: I love you, my dear friends.
You know that Milne’s characters like tasty food. Bolshanin Vlad from the 5th form is going to read a poem.
Rice Pudding
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's crying with all her might and main,
And she won't eat her dinner - rice pudding again -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
I've promised her dolls and a daisy-chain,
And a book about animals - all in vain -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's perfectly well, and she hasn't a pain;
But, look at her, now she's beginning again!
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
I've promised her sweets and a ride in the train,
And I've begged her to stop for a bit and explain -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's perfectly well and she hasn't a pain,
And it's lovely rice pudding for dinner again!
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
I think everybody watched cartoons about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. In these cartoons you heard a lot of funny songs. Let’s sing a song together.

Vasilieva Albina “Sleepy Beauty”

In the Fashion
A lion has a tail and a very fine tail
And so has an elephant and so has a whale,
And so has a crocodile, and so has a quail-
They've all got tails but me.
If I had sixpence I would buy one;
I'd say to the shopman, 'Let me try one';
I'd say to the elephant, 'This is my one.'
They'd all come round to see.
Then I'd say to the lion, 'Why, you've got a tail!
And so has the elephant, and so has the whale!
And, look! There's a crocodile! He's got a tail!
You've all got tails like me!'
Plyushina Sveta, the 5th form
Wind On The Hill
No one can tell me,
Nobody knows,
Where the wind comes from,
Where the wind goes.
It's flying from somewhere
As fast as it can,
I couldn't keep up with it,
Not if I ran.
But if I stopped holding
The string of my kite,
It would blow with the wind
For a day and a night.
And then when I found it,
Wherever it blew,
I should know that the wind
Had been going there too.
So then I could tell them
Where the wind goes…
But where the wind comes from
Nobody knows.
Moiseeva Kristina, the 5th form
Furry Bear
If I were a bear,
And a big bear too,
I shouldn't much care
If it froze or snew;
I shouldn't much mind
If it snowed or friz--
I'd be all fur-lined
With a coat like his!
For i'd have fur boots and a brown fur wrap,
And brown fur knickers and a big fur cap.
I'd have a fur muffle-ruff to cover my jaws.
And brown fur mittens on my big brown paws.
With a big brown furry-down up to my head,
I'd sleep all the winter in a big fur bed.
Kirikovich Dasha, the 1st form The Polar Bear
The Polar Bear never makes his bed;
He sleeps on a cake of ice instead.
He has no blanket, no quilt, no sheet
Except the rain and snow and sleet.
He drifts about on a white ice floe
While cold winds howl and blizzards blow
And the temperature drops to forty below.
The Polar Bear never makes his bed;
The blanket he pulls up over his head
Is lined with soft and feathery snow.
If ever he rose and turned on the light,
He would find a world of bathtub white,
And icebergs floating through the night.
Christopher played with his toy everywhere: at home, in the garden, in the grass, in the mud, in the water. He climbed trees, picked primroses in the spring and watched other beautiful flowers.
Zeinalov Samir,the 5th form
The Wrong House
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house,
It has big steps and a great big hall;
But it hasn't got a garden,
A garden,
A garden,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house,
It has a big garden and great high wall;
But it hasn't got a may-tree,
A may-tree,
A may-tree,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and it wasn't a house -
Slow white petals from the may-tree fall;
But it hasn't got a blackbird,
A blackbird,
A blackbird,
It isn't like a house at all.
I went into a house, and I thought it was a house,
I could hear from the may-tree the blackbird call…
But nobody listened to it,
Nobody
Liked it,
Nobody wanted it at all.
Kirikovich Dasha, the 1st form “The Sun is Shining”

Dear friends, thank you for your work and good mood! We are happy you were with us. Appreciate every moment of your childhood. We ask Porokhin Andrew, the 5th form with a poem “Growing Up”
Growing up
I’ve got shoes with grown-up laces,
I’ve got knickers and a pair of braces,
I’m all ready to run some races.
Who’s coming out with me?
I’ve got a nice new pair of braces,
I’ve got shoes with new brown laces,
I know wonderful paddly places.
Who’s coming out with me?
Every morning my new grace is,
’Thank you, God, for my nice braces;
I can tie my new brown laces.’
Who’s coming out with me?
