Промежуточная аттестация по английскому языку в 9 классе по УМК «Rainbow English»

Пояснительная записка к промежуточной аттестации по английскому языку

для учащихся 9 класса.

Цель работы: определить уровень усвоения программного материала учащимися 9 класса по английскому языку.

Промежуточная аттестация по английскому языку в 9 классе составлена в соответствии с УМК «Rainbow English» под ред. Михеевой И.В, 2023.

Работа для 9 класса состоит из заданий по аудированию, чтению, а также включает контроль лексико-грамматических навыков.

Максимально за данную работу ученик 9 класса может получить 60 баллов, из них 5 баллов за аудирование, 4 балла за выполнение задания по чтению, 25 баллов за грамматический тест и 26 баллов за лексический тест.

За верное выполнение каждого задания с выбором ответа ученик получает 1 балл. За неверный ответ или отсутствие ответа выставляется 0 баллов.

Таким образом, выставляются следующие отметки:

«2» 0-49% 0-29 балла

«3» 50-69% 30-41 балла

«4» 70-90% 42-54 баллов

«5» 91-100% 55-60 баллов

This car looks a bit like a spaceship and that's not the only special thing about it. The car gets its power from the sun. Solar cars could solve pollution problems but they stop running when the sun goes down.

The Hubble Space Telescope is a very special telescope. It flies high above the Earth orbiting it. The telescope allows us to see objects much more clearly than the earth-based telescopes. Hubble is not only a powerful telescope, it also carries cameras which allow scientists to see objects billions of light years away.

The word “umbrella” is Italian and it means “a little shade”. However, the Italians didn’t invent the umbrella. It was used many centuries ago in the East as a protection against the sun.

In Britain the umbrella appeared in the 18th century and it was used more as a protection against the rain. People believe that the first man who was seen in the streets of London with an umbrella was Jonas Hanway. There is a monument to him in Westminster Abbey.

The word “chatbot” means a “chatter robot”. Chatbots are computer programs which can do a lot of things. They can teach you English, French, Spanish and Japanese. They can guide you through different websites, and answer your questions. And they can even talk to each other!

Five thousand years ago, the ancient Egyptians wrote things down using picture writing called hieroglyphic. The people who did the writing were called scribes. The scribes had a problem, however. The ancient Egyptians wrote everything down, absolutely everything. Although hieroglyphics were very pretty it took time to write in pictures. Scribes needed a faster way to write things down, so they created a new form of writing called Demotic script. Now they could write much quicker, but the skill of reading in hieroglyphics was lost and for hundreds of years, people didn't know what they meant.

1. The Internet has lots of users. It has lately become extremely popular and is being applied by people of all ages and professions. With its help you can easily get the information you need for academic studies as well as for other purposes,shopping, for example. Besides you can get in touch with your friends in no time and socialize as long as you like. The Internet is also a source of entertainment. You can play games,download films and music either for free or at a very low price.

2. When you work on the computer, you are aware of all these advantages. But have you ever thought that for some people the same things may lead to great problems?Instead of going out to meet friends and relatives, such individuals prefer to stay at home and sit before their computers for hours often just wasting time. These people have little or no exercise and some of them even develop computer dependence. They prefer to chat online and have difficulties in real communication often leading to loneliness and psychological problems.

3. Thus we have to agree that the world of the Internet is not so perfect as it seems to be and as the advertisements say. It is true that on the Net the latest news and the information you need is available to you when you are at home at any time. This is very convenient and fast. But with so much information available, it can take you quite a while to find what you really need. Besides there is so much advertising instead of real facts and true information. On the other hand, online shopping helps to save both time and money but often leads to the result you did not expect.

4. Nevertheless millions of people enjoy using the Internet. It’s real fun to play computer games, to find new friends and to chat with old ones. But these are not the things people should do during theirworking hours. Yet, many Internet users do them. Computers have been installed in a great number of offices and it is next to impossible to make sure that all people there use their time properly. However, we all understand that modern life is not possible without the Internet.
