Экологический вестник Комсомольского района (Класс: 7)

« One couldn’t pluck a flower without troubling a star »

Цели:

познавательный аспект- знакомство с географическими особенностями и экологической ситуацией Комсомольского района, его флорой и фауной.

развивающий аспект- развитие способности к распределению внимания, анализу, сравнению, планированию своего высказывания.

воспитательный аспект- воспитание любви и уважительного отношения к малой Родине, природе Комсомольского района, ответственного отношения к решению экологических проблем.

учебный аспект- контроль умения учащихся вести беседу, высказывая своё мнение по теме, обобщение и закрепление лексического и грамматического материала по теме «Экология», совершенствование навыков устной речи и аудирования.

Задачи:

познакомить учащихся с флорой и фауной Комсомольского района на основе схематической карты, иллюстраций и фотографий.

создать условия для закрепления знаний лексического и грамматического материала на практике.

использовать различные режимы работы: индивидуальный, групповой, парный.

Сопутствующие задачи:

совершенствование орфографических и произносительных навыков.

T.: Today we are going to speak about the environment and environmental protection in Komsomolsky region. Children, do you like our region and our village? Do you want to see them tidy and clean?

IV. Основная часть

1. Развитие навыков аудирования.

You know that people all other the world are worried about the environment and the problem of ecology is very important today. Our region is beautiful and large. But what is the ecological situation in our area? Listen to the dialogue! (см.Приложение № 2)

P1: -Phew! I’m tired!

P2: - Where have you been?

P1: -I have hade a long walk around our village Molodezhny and got to know a lot about the ecological situation in Komsomolsky region.

P2: -What did you get to know about it?

P1: - For thousands of years people lived in harmony with Nature. Not so long ago we could go to the forest, sit on the bank of the river Amur and could catch eatable fish in the river Khurbinka.

P2: - But today the situation is quite different, isn’t it?

P1: - Yes, that’s all changed now! With the development of civilization Nature began to increase. The large city Komsomolsk has appeared in our region: litter and the waste are thrown in the rivers and the air. Did you see what color the water in Amur is?

P2: - Yes, the water is not clean, but brown. It’s very dangerous to drink such water and we won’t be able to eat fresh fish from the Amur for many years after the ecological catastrophe on the Far East.

P1: - Besides that, vast forests are cut down and burn in fire every summer. As a result, some rare animals, birds and plants are disappearing and can disappear forever, and our rivers can die.

T.: What ecological problems have you heard?

P1: - The water is polluted.

P2: - The forests are burnt in fires.

P3: - Birds and animals are killed.

P4: - The air is polluted.

P5: - Trees and plants are cut down.

P6: - Litter is left and thrown everywhere.

V. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи.

T: You are right! All these problems are very serious and important. Now, please, look at the map of Komsomolsky region. This map reflects the ecological situation in our region (наэкранесхематичнаякартасуказаниямипроблемныхмествнашемрайоне). I wantyoutodiscussthem. ( см. Приложение №3 )

P1: More than 80% of the whole territory of Komsomolsky region is occupied by thick forests. Their structure is quite different: taiga and cedar-deciduous mixed forests. On the left side of the river Amur the forests are exhausted. Besides, people throw litter and the waste in the forest and the soil is damaged. Very often our carelessness causes fires and birds and animals (squirrels, sables, minks, Siberian weasels, elks and brown bears) are disturbed and killed.

People, don’t harm forests and animals!

P2: A large city Komsomolsk is situated on the right bank of the river Amur with its industry. Local industry pours its waste into the river and the air. The water is polluted and many species of fish (salmon, sturgeon) are undermined. The fish is poisoned and it is dangerous for our health.

People, keep water clean!

P3: The most protected area occupies 0.3% of the whole territory of the region. Thus, there is National Park «Komsomolsky» here. It is situated on the right bank of the river Amur. It was founded in 1963 to examine and protect flora and fauna of our region and to take care of the water in the Amur.

People, help animals survive!

P4: This is our school. It is situated in the village Molodezhny. We live here and it is our home. We live near the forest. It is very beautiful, especially in autumn. But every summer our forests suffer from fires. Our river Khurbinka becomes dirtier and dirtier. Maybe in several years we will not be able to swim and fish in it.

Let’s keep our village clean and tidy for ourselves and future generation!

VI. Развитие навыков устной речи.

a) T: Thank you for your point of view! The conclusion is that pollution in Komsomolsky region is getting worse and worse. But maybe we can help our region? What should we do to protect it?

P1: We can plant trees and flowers near the school and make eco parks.

P2: We shouldn’t throw litter in the wrong place and leave fires in the forest.

P3: We should make bird feeders and put them in the forest in winter.

P4: We can clean the river.

P5: We mustn’t disturb animals.

T: You are right! And what about the idea to found Young Friends of Countryside Nature Club (YFCN Club)? I think it’s great! Would you like to join it?

P: Yes, we would like to join it.

T: But in order to become a member of YFCN Club you should have a test and answer my questions about nature:

How long does a bee live?

How long does a butterfly live?

How long does it take a blueberry bush to grow to give berries?

Do plants sleep?

What animals and birds live in Komsomolsky region?

Do bears suck their paws?

What ecological groups and organizations do you know?
