P2:We are veryglad to see you in our school. Now we’d like to tell you about our school.

P3:As you see our school is very large. It has three floors. When we come to school we take our coats and hats off.

P4:On the ground floor we can see the gymnasium where we have PE.

P2:The teachers’ room is on the first floor. There are a lot of classrooms too.

P3:There is the school hall on the first floor. Here we have meetings for the pupils and their parents.

P4: There are rooms for English and other subjects and a library.

Russian pupil 2: How old are children in England when they begin to go to school?

English pupil 2: Children begin to go to school when they are five years old.

Ведущий: Now some words about our town. Surgut is one of the biggest towns of Khanty-Mansy Autonomous Area. It’s population of more than 330 000 people. Surgut is more than 400 years old. It is very beautiful town with a lot of sights. Surgut is a town of oil and gas industry.

Ведущий: Turn to the right, please. This is our park of entertainment. It is not very large but very nice. There are a lot of pines in it.

Ведущий: This is our central street, Lenin Street. There are a lot of shops here. There is a monument “For Founders” in front of you. Now we are near “The Old Surgut”. It is a museum where you can see ice figures and old houses.

English pupil 1: Just a minute! Is anything wrong with the traffic? Why do the cars go on the right side of the road?

Russian pupil 1: Everything is all right. In our country the cars go on the right side of the road, not on the left side of the road.
