The 1st Kitten: Yagyaeva A., 6-V

The 3rd Kitten: Polupanova I., 5-V

Narrator: Aushev M., 5-A

Miss Muffet: Fedeneva D., 6-B

Spider: Zhdanov G., 5-V

Mr. Cat: Zakora V., 5-A

Queen: Fedorenko E., 5-A

Mouse: Goretskaya N., 5-V

Fairy: Kaganets N., 5-A

Mother Goose is sitting in a cozy armchair and reading a book to the children.

Two dwarfs are running to the stage.

Dwarf 1: Once on winter evening cold

Mother Goose her rhymes told,

Sitting calmly in a chair

With her little children near,

Reading them her magic book.

Come to us and have a look!

Dwarf 2: Old Mother Goose

When she wanted to wander

Would ride through the air

On a very fine gander.

Dwarfs: Inter, mitzy, titzy, too!

Ira, dira, dominu!

Oker, poker, dominoker!

Out go you!

John: Mother Goose! Who is this?

Mother Goose: It’s my best friend, Mr Gander.

Marry: Why is it here, Mother Goose?

Mother Goose: We like to travel. We saw many places of interest.

We met a lot of kind and funny people.

Marry: And what a beautiful book you have, Mother Goose!

Mother Goose: It’s a magic book – “Mother Goose Rhymes”.

John: Oh, Mother Goose, read it, please.

John and Marry: Read it, please! Read it, please!

Mother Goose: Listen, Marry! Listen, John!

We shall read and go on.

The children are coming on the stage and performing the Song “Hickory, Dickory, Dock”. The mouse is running around trying to hide somewhere.

Hickory, dickory, dock,

The mouse ran up the clock.

The clock struck one,

The mouse ran down,

Hickory, dickory, dock

Hickory, dickory, dock,

The mouse ran up the clock.

The clock struck two,

The mouse says: oo-oo-oo,

Hickory, dickory, dock.

Hickory, dickory, dock,

The mouse ran up the clock.

The clock struck three,

The mouse says: p-e-e-e.

Hickory, dickory, dock.

The scene: Three Little Kittens

Narrator: Three little kittens

They lost their mittens

And they began to cry:

Kitten 1: Oh, mother dear,

Kitten 2: We sadly fear:

Kitten 3: Our mittens we have lost!

Mother Cat: What! Lost your

mittens!

You naughty kittens!

Then you shall have no

pie!

Mee-ow, mee-ow, mee-ow!

Narrator: The three little kittens

They found their mittens

And they began to cry:

Kitten 1: Oh, mother dear,

Kitten 2: See here, see here!

Kitten 3: Our mittens we have found.

Mother Cat: Put on your mittens,

You silly kittens

And you shall have

some pie.

Pur-pur-pur-r-r

Narrator: The three little kittens

Put on their mittens

And soon ate up the pie:

Kitten 1: Oh, mother dear,

Kitten 2: We sadly fear

Kitten 3: Our mittens we have

soiled.

Mother Cat: What! Soiled your mittens,

You naughty kittens!

Narrator: And they began to sigh.

Mee-ow, mee-ow, mee-ow!

Narrator: The three little kittens

washed their mittens

And hung them up to dry:

Kitten 1: Oh, mother dear,

Kitten 2: Do not you hear?

Kitten3: Our mittens we have washed.

Mother Cat: What! Washed your

mittens,

You could little kittens.

I smell a rat close by.

Sh…..Sh…..Sh…..

The scene: Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet

Sat on a tuffet,

Eating her curds and whey;

Along came a spider,

Who sat down beside her

And frightened Miss Muffet away.

Miss Muffet: I like sweets, I like candies,

I like chocolate, I like sweets …….. .

Spider: I am a spider,

I live in the tree.

I am very bored,

Would you like to play with me?

Miss Muffet:With you? I don’t play with spiders.

Spider: I am a good spider. I am a kind spider.

Miss Muffet: All right. Let’s play!

The Spider and Miss Muffet are friends now. They are dancing to the music

The song “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”.

Head, shoulders,

Knees and toes,

Knees and toes.

Head, shoulders,

Knees and toes,

Knees and toes.

Eyes, ears,

Mouth, nose,

Knees and toes.

The scene: Cat Policeman

Mr Cat: Good morning, your majesty!

Queen: Morning, Mr. Cat!

Mr Cat: What are the things going on in your kingdom?

Queen: Everything is all right. No wars, the harvest is rich and the treasury is full.

Mr Cat: I see. No problem.

Queen: It’s not that. We have one problem.

Mr Cat: What’s the problem?

Queen: There are two mice in the kingdom.

Mr Cat: Don’t panic! I’ll help you. Oh, I see one.

Mouse: Try to catch! Try to catch!

Queen: Thank you, Mr. Cat. You are very brave!

Mr Cat: Good bye, your Majesty.

Mother Goose: Mr. Cat! Mr. Cat!

Where have you been?

Mr Cat: I’ve been to London to look at the Queen.

Mother Goose: Mr. Cat! Mr. Cat!

What did you do there?

Mr Cat: I frightened a mouse under the chair.

All the participants are on the stage. They are performing the song”Twinkle,twinkle, little star”.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.

How I wonder what you are?

Lonely traveler in the dark

Thanks you for your tiny spark.

Up above the world so high

Like a diamond in the sky.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.

How I wonder what you are?

In the dark blue sky you keep

While you through my window peep.

And you never shut your eyes

Till the sun is in the sky.

The little fairy is touching each child with her magic wand. The children are falling to sleep.
