Good afternoon, boys and girls! Good afternoon, dear guests! Glad to see you at our Christmas party. You know that all the British celebrate Christmas on December 25 and today we are going to celebrate Christmas too. Enjoy our party with us.

Christmas

Pupil 1: The 25^th of December is Christmas Day.Some weeks before Christmas English people are busy. The send greeting cards to their relatives and friends. People buy a Christmas tree and decorate it. On Christmas Eve Father Christmas comes and puts his presents into the children’s stockings.

Pupil 2: Every year there is a very big Christmas tree in the center of London. Londoners decorate it. In the evening before Christmas people like to come to the square to look at the tree. The shops are very busy on Christmas. People want to buy presents and food for parties. People open their presents on Christmas morning. For dinner people eat turkey, potatoes and green vegetables, pudding and cake. On Christmas people wish their nearest and dearest a merry Christmas.

Students:Oh, Christmas Tree! Oh, Christmas Tree,

Your green dress delights us!

SC:Thank you very much boys and girls! I like your poems! Now, let’s play games!
