Relevance: Urinary infections are the most common bacterial infections in adult women. A polyclinic doctor encounters urinary tract infections (UTI) almost daily. Diagnosis and treatment of this disease are fully within the competence of the general practitioner. The most frequent causative agents of cystitis are gram-negative enterobacteria, mainly Escherichia coli (up to 90%). The second most common selection is Staphylococcus saprophyticus (up to 20%), which is more often detected in young women. Much less frequently, cystitis is caused by Klebsiella sp. or Proteus mirabilis.

Objective: - a comparative study and assessment of the variability (variability) of certain biological properties of cultures of microorganisms isolated from the urine of sick women of fertile age with acute and chronic cystitis.

Material and Methods: A total of 1026 urine samples of women of fertile age (18-49 years old) with urinary tract infections obtained for bacteriological studies were studied. 278 (27.1%) samples were obtained from patients with cystitis, of which 194 (69.8%) were acute (OC) and 84 (30.2%) were chronic (HC). After the cultures were identified, 29 strains of E.coli (15 from women with OC and 14 with CW) of urinary origin were used for further in vitro studies with> 105 CFU / ml in urine. For comparison of taxonomic characters, 21 E. coli strains identified from the feces of healthy women of comparable age were used. The intergeneric and interspecific identification of strains was carried out simultaneously, under the same conditions, using traditional bacteriological methods [4].

Results and discussion: The main etiological agent of urinary tract infections, including OC and HC, were E.coli (73.9%), so the strains of this particular pathogen were subjected to further research. Together with E.coli, representatives of the family Enterobacteriaceae, Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., Enterococcus sp., Pseudomonas sp., Candida sp. Were often sown. Further identification of isolated cultures testified to the homogeneity of microorganisms of the genus Escherichia, Pseudomonas, and Staphylococcus by their basic biological properties. The study of the total hemagglutinating activity of the strains under study is of great importance, since it characterizes one of the pathogenic factors of bacteria - adhesiveness. The facts established in the course of bacteriological studies are of great importance in diagnosing, predicting the course and outcome, as well as assessing the occurrence and course of urological infection in women of fertile age due to E.coli.

Conclusion:The causative agents of acute and chronic cystitis (E.coli) with different frequencies revealed taxonomic features with which their pathogenicity is associated. The adhesiveness of E.coli, obtained from patients with chronic cystitis, is 1.6 and 3.6 times higher than that of patients with acute cystitis and healthy women.The isolated cultures of E.coli were distinguished by variability in some biological characteristics, differences in the ability of sucrose fermentation and hemolytic activity were revealed.
