(Разработка урока английского языка в 7 классе по учебнику М.З. Биболетовой «Enjoy English»)

Цель урока:

Способствовать формированию коммуникативной компетенции, в частности социокультурного компонента учащихся по средствам темы «Добро пожаловать в Татарстан »

Задачи урока:

1. Способствовать формированию фонетических навыков.

2. Расширить знания о стране изучаемого языка через свою культуру.

3. Способствовать развитию коммуникативных умений: участвовать в беседе, выражать свое мнение, делать краткое сообщение по теме.

4. Способствовать развитию языковых знаний и умений (развивать лексику по теме: «Достопримечательности Казани», грамматику: знать структуру всех видов предложений ).

5. Способствовать развитию творческих способностей учащихся.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент:

T. Good morning dear students. I am so happy to see you! How do you feel today? Today we will speak about our native Republic. I hope that you will get a lot of useful information.

II.Речеваяразминка

T. Let's start our lesson with poetry. During our last lessons we have read a lot of poems about our city.

S. Oh, Kazan! Spirited Kazan! Melodious Kazan! Radiant Kazan!

Here are all solemn places and deeds of our ancestors

Here are all the beauties and paradise of the yearing soul!

T. Thank you, it was a great poem which was written by the great Tatar poet Gabdullah Tukay.

T. What is this poem about? What will we speak about during our lesson?

S. About our Kazan? The capital of republic Tatarstan, about hometown, nature country. Today we''ll speak not only about Kazan, but about our Rebublic too. So, welcome to Tatarstan!

T. Well done, you are a treasure, thank you! By the way, your homework was to prepare some proverbs about our Motherland. Did you find them?

S. Home, sweat home.

IV.Актуализацияопорныхзнаний.

T. Every year a lot of tourists, guests, foreigners visit Tatarstan (Kazan). During our last lessons we had done a spidergrammar. Let's have a talk about their reasons and purposes of their visit.

S. There are many different reasons for travelling to Tatarstan (Kazan). For example: to meet people.

T. What does it mean? How can you explain it?

S. I suppose it's very interesting to meet and have friends from different countries, not only from your town.

T. Thank you. What's the best way to see the town? What advice can you give tp foreign friends about the ways of travelling in Kazan.

S. There are a lot of ways of seeing the town. First of all , if you want to walk, to see the beautiful countryside, to meet people you can travel on foot. Maybe it's not the most comfortable way to travel, but the most interesting. And, certainly you can travel by car. It is interesting too, because you can see many things in a short time. There are double-decker and single-decker buses in Kazan. You can travel by bus, it's more convenient.

T. Thank you. Well done. Are there other reasons?

S To practice their languages, for example Russian, Tatar and other languages. They can improve their language skills.

T. People also visit our country ti take part in different celebrations or special occasion. What special dates do you know?

S. There are a lot of them. For example, the 30th of August. The Republic of Tatarstan is a subject of Russian Federation and the third capital of Russia. The Declaration of state sovereignty of the Republic was signed on the 30th of August,1990. People of Tatarstan, Russia and the whole world are celebrated thi holiday with great pleasure.

T. This is a state holiday.What religious or national holiday do you know?

S. Sabantuy, Naurus, Maslennitsa, Easter and others. All of them are bright, popular for all ages. During these festivals there are a lot of spectacular competitions: horse races, national wrestling, sport games. сoncerts.

T. As you know among your classmates there are a lot of stars. Recently they have made an exhibition. Let's listen to them. What do they want to tell us about their merits?

VI.Закреплениеновогоматериала.

T. Our citizens are very proud of their ancient and at the same time modern city, because it has a rich history and wonderful sights. As you know in 2013 in our city the Universiade will held. Tatarstaners are prepared for this great event. We should be ready to meet guests from all over the world. A lot of new sport complexes are built in Kazan recently.( учительпоказываетслайдспортивныхкомплексов)

T. There is also a great purpose to visit new places, sights. What can you tell about sights. Can you name any places of interests in Kazan?

S. Kazan is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There are a lot of sights in Kazan and they are getting more famous and unique and new entertainment and sport complexes, parks, bridges are built.

T . As you know the most beautiful historical place in Kazan is Kazan Kremlin.

S. The English traveller Tenkinson wrote in his memories in 1558: “Kazan is a beautiful city, built in the Russian and Tatar style, with a strong castle, standing on a high hill”. Kazan Kremlin symbolies the nation's history, it's culture and traditions and reminds us of the role Kazan played in the long nistory not only of Tatarstan and Russia but of the Eurasian continent. In 2000 the Kazan Kremlin became a monument of UNESCO World Heritage.

S. The most unusual structure in the Kremlin complex is the Suyumbike Tower. A lot of legends are connected with the Suyumbike Tower. It is dear to our city like the Statue of liberty to New York or the Eiffel Tower to Paris. Also there are a lot of churches and mosques in Kazan. One of the newest and the most beautiful mosque is Kul-Sharif Mosque.

S. Kazan is an educational centre. There are a lot of institutes, universities. Kazan University is the third oldest university in Russia. Young people from different countries come to Kazan to study and to get a qualified education.

T. Among us there are some people who were born in different towns of Tatarstan. ( учащиеся проводят интервью с гостями, общаются с ними).

- What is Nizhnekamsk famous for?...

- Do you love your city? Why?

- This summer I'm going to visit Nizhnekamsk. What places can you suggest me to see?...

Countries have their own national colours too. There are usually the colours of the national flag. The patriotic colours in Britain and the USA are red, white and blue. Companies and political parties often use these colours to create a feeling of national pride. The different parts of Britain have their own emblems, too. They are all plants. England has the rose. Scotland has the thistle, Wales has the leek. Flags also have their own colours. The English flag is white with a red cross. The Scottish flag has a white cross on a blue background. The Welsh flag shows a red dragon.

S. Tatarstaners are always glad to meet guests. They are friendly, hospitable. I am proud of my citizen, because they can live in peace, support and take care of each other.

Подготовить экскурсию с презентацией одного из спортивных объектов нашего города.
